After traveling, Sodis and Signas finally reached the guardians' base. The entrance was guarded by a few soldiers. Then they were greeted by a woman in dark clothing.
"Ah, Sodis who is this?" the woman asked.
"Her name is Signas" replied Sodis.
"Oh, well how did you find her?" asked the woman in dark clothing.
"Well... this might sound hard to believe but... I found her while I was patrolling near the mountains. Then I got lost, and got knocked out. When i awoke i was in a cave. Apparently she lived there." Sodis explained.
"W-What!?" exclaimed the lady in dark clothing.
In Signas' perspective, it looked like she was getting mad. It was obvious that she didn't believe him
"Sodis, stop joking... really, where did you find her?" the woman demanded.
"Ask her yoursel-"
"I did." Signas interrupted.
"This has to be a joke..." the woman
thought.
"Well... ugh alright. My name is Lunaris!" stated the lady in dark clothing, giving a warm smile.
Expecting a reply, Lunaris had the complete opposite. It was silent and Signas just stared at her. Feeling creeped out, Lunaris said: "Sodis, I'm going to check on Luly."
"Why did you do that?" Sodis asked.
But Signas completely ignored the question and started to wander around in the base. Sodis was shocked to find that she was one of the rudest people he had ever met. Sodis sighed.
"At least she's not as bad as Farlon." he reminded himself.
As Signas was exploring, Sodis decided to follow her and introduce other guardians along the way. Signas
First went inside the workshop. When they first stepped inside, Signas saw a dark-skinned male working on some type of gun. She was amazed of how big the weapon was. When she got closer, the guy working on the gun looked up.
"Who are you? Are you lost?" the guy asked.
There was no reply.
"An intruder? No. No one would be that stupid." the man thought.
"Signas? There you are. Sorry Grybe, Grybe this is Signas" Sodis said.
"Oh nice to meet you Signas" said Grybe.
Signas also completely ignored the fact he was there and just examined his gun.
"Grybe I'm so sorry. She's actually not from here." said Sodis.
"It's alright. Wait, what is she doing here?" Grybe asked.
"She's going to be staying at base. I found her in a cave and I felt bad for her." Sodis answered.
"Another joke?" Grybe thought.
"You can't be serious..." Grybe replied.
But when he looked him straight in the eye, it seemed as if he was telling the truth. Then Signas just grabbed the gun and started to walk out.
"Hey! Put that back!" Sodis yelled.
Signas pouted but listened.
"Someone like that's staying here!? Well then again, there is Luly. I'm actually surprised she could carry that." Grybe thought.
He was unsure if this was another prank of Sodis' or not.
"Sorry Grybe. Well time to go Signas!" said Sodis while dragging her out of the workshop.
"Why don't we tour the barracks. You'll stay there." Sodis declared.
