Farlon quickly turned around, he smirked. It was Sodis.
"Farlon I- WOAH!" Sodis exclaimed. Farlon's blade would've been in Sodis's shoulder, luckily Soids dodged it.
"What's wrong Sodis?" Farlon asked with a demented smile.
"Farlon, at least listen to what I have to say!" Sodis ordered.
Farlon laughed.
"You're not the guardian's leader anymore!" Farlon declared.
He attempted to attack Sodis again, but failed.
"Farlon please!" Sodis cried out.
It was no use, Sodis could tell Farlon wouldn't listen. Farlon had a look in his eye, he was determined to kill him.
"If you won't listen to me, then I wont go easy on you." Sodis warned.
"Ha, do your worst!" Farlon expressed.
Then, a bright white light appeared.
As soon as it disappeared Farlon was confused. It seemed as if Sodis vanished. However, this wasn't the case. He was behind him. Farlon was about to attack, but he felt something. He felt that something was on his chest. When he looked down, he had slashes everywhere. Blood started to seep through his cuts, he then fainted falling to the ground.
"FARLON!" screamed a voice.
When Sodis looked up to see who it was, he saw a woman running at him with a sword. It was Ramna, with tears in her eyes she tried to attack Sodis.
"Wait, I didn't kill him! " Sodis exclaimed.
She then calmed down a bit.
After tending to Farlon's wounds, Ramna remembered something to ask Sodis.
"So why did you betray the gods?" Ramna asked.
"They were planning to destroy the humans." Sodis replied.
Ramna gasped. Then when Ramna turned her head she saw something familiar.
"It's the guy carrying the wagon from before!" Ramna thought.
Apparently it was Grybe. He was carrying his weapon on the wagon.
"I guess that explains the machine noise earlier." Ramna thought.
"Grybe, did you hear us?" Sodis asked.
Grybe nodded. "Wait, where's Luly?" Ramna asked.
"Don't worry, she's in the town's tavern." Sodis replied.
"Anyway, you guys have to go and gather more people to fight with us." Sodis ordered.
Since they both knew what the gods planned to do, they followed.
