Chapter 5

I look at Wynonna, confused. Why the hell is Rosita here? Wynonna looks angry. Really angry. Before I can stop her Wynonna gets up and storms over to where her sister and Rosita are standing. I follow her closely, not wanting anything bad to happen. 

Rosita is Wynonnas ex. Her ex that cheated on her... with me. She tried to kiss me while they were still dating but I pushed her off and told Wynonna about it. "Rosita. Long time no see." The older Earp says, crossing her arms.

Rosita turns to us and gives us a smirk. "It has been a long time, hasn't it... I see you're still Wynonnas lap dog, Nicky." She says in a tone that makes me want to punch her. 

Wynonna gives Rosita a glare that scares even me. If looks could kill, Wynonna would be sending Rosita straight to hell. "Nobody but me, Waves and Mercedes get to call Nicole that so watch your mouth, Sita." She says, making me smirk.

Rosita rolls her eyes and groans. "You never were up for sharing." I take a step forward, ready to slap her. Wynonna puts her arm out to stop me and I sigh. Waverly looks between all of us, very confused.

"O-kay? Rosita is visiting for the week. So... control yourselves... and Mercedes." The youngest Earp says, causing us to turn and look at Mercedes. I see Wynonna smile as Mercedes is giving Rosita the biggest glare ever.

She sighs dramatically. "I'll go deal with her." Wynonna walks over to Mercedes and kisses her, causing my eyes to go wide. I look at Waverly and we high five. I glance at Rosita, who looks confused and pissed off. 

"If you're here for the week, where will you be staying?" I say, my voice laced in anger. I feel Waverly touch my back to comfort me, but she quickly pulls her hand away, causing me to frown a little bit.  

"Oh well Waverly said I could stay in your ca-" Rosita starts to say but I quickly cut her off.

"Oh no. No way. Not after what you did to Wynonna. I'm not letting you hurt here again. Or Waverly for that matter." I say, glaring at Rosita.

Waverly rolls her eyes. "I can handle myself, Nicole. I'm not a helpless child. Let's go, Rosita." She says before the duo walks away. I watch them walk, hurt by what Waverly said and mad at myself for making her mad. 

"Great..." I walk over to Wynonna and Mercedes. "Guess who's staying in our cabin for a week?" I say, fake enthusiasm evident in my voice. Wynonna groans.

"Guess who isn't!" She jokes, matching my tone. "God if only it worked that way." She sighs and rests her head on Mercedes' shoulder. 

I chuckle. "Yeah, I wish it did too... Does Waverly not know what happened with Rosita?" I ask, confused about why Waverly is still hanging out with Rosita. 

Wynonna shakes her head. "I didn't see the point in telling her cause Rosita was moving. I just told her we broke up." The older Earp says. I think for a minute.

"Why would she just show up right after her and Champ broke up..." I say, coming to a sudden realization. Wynonna comes to the same one and we both jump up, leaving Mercedes very confused. 

"We'll be right back." Wynonna kisses the other redheads cheek before we run out of the building and go to find Waverly. We find the pair down by the lake. "Waverly!" Wynonna yells as we get to them.

Waverly looks at us, extremely annoyed. "Go away. I don't need you to control my every move. I don't even know why I let you back in... that was clearly a mistake." Waverly says to me. I feel like I just got stabbed in the chest and take a step back.

Wynonna looks at Waverly. "Listen, baby girl. I love you, but that was too far. Nicole has always been there for you. For us. Rosita is a terrible person. We're just trying to stop you from getting hurt." She says, making me look down.
