Chapter 10

Nicole's POV

I asked Waverly on our date because I'm going to ask her to be my girlfriend. I don't want to leave for Toronto without asking her. We haven't gone on a date though, which is why I asked. I don't wanna ask her to be my girlfriend without a date first.

I told Waverly to meet me in the forest at 4, so I have time to set up. I'm getting everything laid out for the date in 10 minutes. When I'm done, I pace around nervously. What if Waverly says no? What if she doesn't want to be my girlfriend? 

I hear footsteps behind me so turn around. I smile widely seeing Waverly. She looks around. "Nic... this is amazing... I didn't realize you were such a romantic." She giggles as she walks over to me. 

I rest my hands on her waist. "Well... The best girl deserves the best first date." I say, looking down at the younger girl. I kiss her softly, smiling into it when she kisses back. Her hands come up to my cheeks as we pull away. I kiss her forehead. "Alright. I made your favourite, sweet and sour soup with peanut butter. There's also lemonade..." I look at her nervously.

Waverly is grinning up at me. "You're amazing baby." She kisses my cheek. We sit down on the blanket I laid down. We sit just talking and eating the food for a while before I decide to ask her.

"Hey Waves..? I wanted to ask you something..." I say, nervously playing with her fingers. Waverly looks at me, her head slightly tilted to the side as if to encourage me to ask. "So um I know I'm leaving soon but I really like you... Like a lot... and I was wondering if you'd make me super lucky and be my girlfriend..." I look up, meeting her gaze.

Waverly smiles widely. She nods quickly. "Of course I will, cutie." She leans forwards and kisses me softly. I smile and kiss back, wrapping my arms around her waist. She moves closer and wraps her arms around my neck. 

Waverly Earp is my girlfriend. Holy shit...

A/N
I'm sorry for such a short chapter. The next chapter will be longer. I've also made a decision. I'm gonna do about 5 more chapters of this, and then make a new wayhaught book. It's an idea I've had for a while but I wanted to finish this first. The plot is Nicole works at a small coffee shop and one day Waverly comes in and buys a vanilla dipped donut. Nicole falls instantly and sets out to find her.
