Reid's POV: We had just landed in nebraska , and straight off of the plane we're headed to the precinct. Usually I don't let women fog my mind , but Sydney has been my main focus for most of the time . The way her eyes dart away from mine to the board when we look at each other ; I can clearly tell that she's nervous , and I like it . The way her blue eyes roll when u make a joke about her height . The way her her light blonde eyelashes curl . ———— Sydney POV : Reid and I have our suspect ,but we just need a location . Garcia can't find anything on micheal Lenao ; I'm pissed because my childhood friend was found dead the same way , and I'm seriously hoping that this is her killer. I need closure ; none of the team knows how or what happened to me when I was younger . The love of my life has cheated on me with my best friend , and they ran off to Thailand ... last I heard they were in Italy and they have a business and expecting their first child . I can't lie and say that I'm not a tiny bit Jealous ; it was only 2 1/2 years ago , but it was a 4 year relationship.
Sydney : *zoning out * Reid : *unintelligible words * hey ... Sydney .. Sydney ... SYDNEY! *reid says as he claps * Sydney: * slowly zones back in * what ? What the hell was that for Reid ?! * as Sydney gets up quickly and goes in the conference room * Sydney's 💭: I know I was wrong for snapping at Reid like that , but I was zoned out thinking about my past , and I let my anger get the best up of me . Reid : did I say something ? * JJ walks in * JJ do u know why Sydney's mad ? JJ: no , do you ? She walked straight past Emily and I when we asked her what's wrong . Spence did u do something ? Spencer : I don't think so; she was zoning out so I brought her back to earth and she snapped . She was so zoned out , so whatever she was thinking about was bringing tears to her eyes and she was shaking . Suddenly hotch comes running in the conference room telling me that Garcia found micheal . Hotch threw me a safety vest and rushed me to the car . The horrible part is I have to sit next to Reid after snapping at him . We took 2 cars but some of the cops had to ride with us so it's packed .
The case went bad ; the unsub shot me in the thigh , And was drowning me , until Morgan came and shot him ; micheal lenao died right on top of me .
