I woke up for work and I start thinking about what Giuliano said . Reid never showed up for work ... I gave Reid a call . The line rang 4 times before I got a soft " hello , Sydney " I let out a sigh of relief . " hey Reid ! What are u doing ?" " nothing just getting ready for work ." " do u want to ride with me ?", I asked friendly, but still trying to shake the worries. " yeah , actually I would like to ride to work with u ." " great ! I'll be there in 15 ."
At Reid's apartment ...
I knock on Reid's apartment and he opens almost immediately. I get a strong whiff of vanilla and maybe pumpkin . " wow ! A new pantsuit . You wear white ... who are u and what did u do with Sydney ", he says jokingly ... I let out a chuckle . " yeah well , they had a sale and I thought I'd grab one ."
Reid and I were singing to radio because him and I were wired for sound because we just had coffee.
I got a call from " unknown number " and I just ignored it . I already knew who it was from . I didn't want to deal with it .
Then I got a text ...
Unknown : smart move princess ! Taking Reid with you . I'm not gonna kill you yet , and u know that , but u can't keep Reid with u everywhere ...xoxo More love , Giuliano.
Sydney: I'm not doing this ! You're gonna leave me alone .
10 minutes later ...
Reid and I pull up to the BAU and as we're about to get out he pulls me back. I turn to face him , and he looks at me with those " I love you " eyes , and he leans in and kisses me . It caught me off guard but I kiss him back . We almost made out ... but our phone rang and we have a case .
As soon as we walked in Garcia gathered us in the conference room .
Garcia : okay crime fighters ... 4 females have been found drowned and mutilated.
Emily: when was the last kill ?
Garcia: 6 days ago...
Sydney: at least he still active , so we stand a greater chance of catching him.
Luke : Garcia where are we going ?
Garcia : rio grande Texas
Emily : wheels up in 30..
The team all went to get their go bags and we headed to the plane . I got another text reading " see you in rio grande , princess ."
