I was leaning against the park fence, waiting for her to show up. I stared down at my phone, no one had texted me. And the weather had gotten warmer, and all the snow had melted. But it wasn't warm enough for a knee length light pink dress with a floral pattern. But that's what Lillith showed up in and I felt underdressed.

"Benji!" She said with a smile.

"Hi." I responded.

"Don't you just love spring? The flowers are blooming and the birds come out from hibernation!" She laughed.

"Birds don't hibernate." I murmured but she ignored me.

"Let's walk over there, it has the best scenery." She smiled. We walked as she talked about her latest test grade.

"But I swear, I had to have at least gotten a eighty five, it was so unfair-"

"What's your zodiac?" I asked quickly.

"Pisces, why?" She responded.

"Oh, makes sense." I grinned. We kept walking until we finally reached the exit of the park. She smiled and looked at me. This is when I had to tell her, I didn't wanna date her. But before I could open my mouth to say so she said something.

"We should break up." She said.

"Yes." I said quickly. "I mean, oh really why?" She laughed.

"Benji, here's the thing. I think I like girls."

"Oh?"

"Yeah, also you're boring. You need to talk more, I need to have a conversation not just talk forever. Come on, step up your game. Also if we are being completely honest, you don't wanna be with me, you are in love with someone else."

"W-what?" I asked.

"Yeah, sorry Benji, you're a great guy. Just not a great conversationalist."

"No no I mean about me being in love with someone else."

"Oh, yeah. Seems like you would rather just not believe it. So I'm gonna leave now, because my

friends are meeting at a coffee shop soon and the barista is kinda cute. Sorry dude, I'm a Pisces. I love romance." She smiled and walked off. "What's your sign?" She yelled from the street.

"Aquarius!" I responded.

"Haha I dodged a bullet then!" She laughed and ran away. Leaving me in the park completely confused.
