We stood in the garden from my house. I was so excited, my heart beat went insane. It felt so real it was almost to unrealistic.
I took a deep breath in,
"please listen to the words I'm going to say Mikasa." I told her. I was hoping it wasn't going to end in a disaster."Mikasa Ackerman, I lived since a long time by your side." I spoke up in a rather soft tone. "Will you make me to the happiest woman on earth.."
"Marry me?"
"Yes."
She neared my face and kissed me. The kiss topped anything before. I put her the ring on and we hugged each other. I was so happy at this moment, mo one could take that away. The woman out of my dreams accepted. The childhood friend I fell in love with. A future that was waiting for us both to get explored...
- Years Later -
"That's the story how you came together?" A woman asked us. We nodded both in response. We took us by our hands and let the camera firm our wedding ring. The woman was surprised at it. In fact we were sitting in a interview out of reasons for Mikasa's job.
"There is something unclear for me though.." she cleared her throat. It was obvious she would ask something more personal that might would disrespect the privacy of Mikasa and I.
"Whose last name did you accept?" She asked us. That question was actually not clear for most people. I laughed at the question, "I took her name Ackerman.." I trailed off. Thinking back at the days where we planned so much. The feeling of it got me emotional. "It might be unusual but it was what we decided." Mikasa added. Helping me out with it, for that I cracked a smile.
"Oh that's a different kind of story."
"Yeah it is." We both answered in chorus. Our eyes met while speaking out the sentence. Still having our hands locked in each other's
"And after all I promised you I would marry you one day."
