The stories weren't joking when they say she fights like a hurricane.
The guards didn't stand a chance against her. She didn't wield any weapons, yet she triumphed.
Persephone turned, a questioned look on her face. Only then did I noticed that we are all staring at her in wonder.
"How did you do that?!"
Artemis voiced out. Project Mythology shrugged.
"I have been fighting for my life since I was twelve. And I was sixteen before I was shut away, so you can say that fighting has become part of me since then."
My heart hurts for her, this beautiful girl had been through a lot. Stories have proven she is a warrior, what I have seen today only strengthen that fact.
"We better hurry and leave, I sense another mob coming."
"How can you tell?"
The sea's princess turned and smiled at Superboy.
"Haven't you figured out yet? I have powers, I can sense the bodies of water nearby, which means I can sense the water in you. And, I have been relying on my sense to survive for the last eight years."
No one questioned her after that.
We came in to save her, but it is her that lead us out.
