Once Eraserhead had finished reading, he quickly grabbed the papers and the pacifier and made his way to the living room. Mic was crouched over the baby, having laid them out on the couch with the dishtowel underneath. He had just finished changing them and had discarded the damp blanket and wet diaper in a clump on the floor. Hizashi was now busy loosely bundling the infant in one of their own blankets, cooing and baby-talking all the while.
"There we go, little listener! You're feeling much better now, right rockstar? Yeah I'll bet you are. Ready to jam out with your favorite radio star, now? Yes you are!"

At this, Hizashi lowered his head to rub his nose and face on the baby's soft belly, blowing a raspberry in the process. The baby squealed and kicked their little legs in delight, enjoying the attention the blonde hero was lavishing on them after being out in the cold. Although he was still feeling tense, Aizawa couldn't help but give a small smile at the domestic scene in front of him. He knew his partner was good with kids as a teacher, but he never expected Mic to be this paternal. He softly cleared his throat, causing Yamada to look up at his sleepy-eyed spouse. Scooping up the baby in both arms, he straightened and turned towards Aizawa, a sheepish smile on his face. Aizawa also noted the shock of lavender hair on the infant's head.
"Hey, babe! Done already? What'd it say?"

Aizawa opened his mouth to speak, but was cut off when the baby suddenly grabbed a fistful of Mic's golden locks and tugged. The radio host yelped in pain.
"OW! Hey little dude, not cool!"

At this Shouta couldn't help but snicker, viewing it as a bit of karma for Mic's earlier smugness. As Hizashi attempted to wrangle his hair from the baby's grip, he glanced towards Shouta.

"Oh yeah! Little listener's a boy, by the way. Just so you know."

At this, Aizawa's smile fell, reminded of what he came to tell Mic. He nodded, and bluntly stated, "I know."
Mic, having freed himself, now looked up at his partner confusedly. Aizawa walked over to him and handed him the first piece of paper and the pacifier. Yamada shifted the baby to rest in the crook of one arm, freeing up his other hand to take the offered items. As he read, the blonde's eyes widened.
"This is..."

Eraserhead nodded.
"A birth certificate. Though much of the identifying information has been scratched out, unfortunately."

"I can see that. But it says here his name is Hitoshi Shinsou, and he was born July 1."

Aizawa nodded solemnly.
"That means he's barely three months old, Zashi. Still practically a newborn."

Hizashi looked down at the little boy, his eyes softening as he watched little Hitoshi suck on his own fingers and stare back at Mic curiously. It was as if the baby understood they were talking about him. Hizashi tucked the certificate under his arm before gently removing Hitoshi's fist from his mouth.
Mic softly cooed, "No, Hitoshi. Use this, m'kay buddy?" before popping in the pacifier. Hitoshi accepted it and sucked contentedly, smiling up at Mic.

Hizashi took a deep breath before continuing, "Well it's not much, but at least this little guy isn't a total mystery anymore. We might be able to go to city hall and get a new copy of his birth certificate. Track down his parents or other family and then–."

Aizawa held up a hand to stop the blonde's rambling.

"There's more." Aizawa brought out the second piece of paper. This one was a hand written note; the ink had been smudged by the rain but Aizawa was had been able to muddle through the smears to get the message. Shouta cleared his throat and began to read aloud:

To the heroes who find this note,
I'm very sorry but I don't have anywhere else to turn. Please help. My son's life is in serious danger. Someone is after us. An organization called Necrosis wants to use his life as leverage over me. I can't say why. When I gave birth to him, it was in secret and I've been able to keep him hidden for a while. But we've been discovered and I cannot protect him any longer. It breaks my heart, but I cannot bring him with me. A life on the run is not the life I want for my child. I don't want him to pay for the mistakes I've made. I'm leaving him with you, because I know you can help. As heroes, you have a duty to save others. So please, help me save my son.
