Dino one shot
In this time, people are now suffering, craving for a second chance, begging for life, hoping that they could survive
The innocent civilian was slowly turned into a monster that leads them to death
And thier love ones will going to reproach us doctors for not doing our best
But they don't know, that those doctors that they use to hate, was the one who suffered the most
Everyday is a due or die situation
But thanks to my girlfriend, she always cheering me up, and keeps saying that its okay when i feel that I'm going to give up
She's been there to me, since the day that i started
I really love her, i really do, i want to spend my whole time with her forever
I feel lucky that i have her as my girlfriend
But she suddenly left me without any trace
Our relationship was good and wonderful, we didn't fight because we have the same taste that's why we agreed at each others opinions
I didn't remember that i do some things that mades her feel disappointment
She love me, i know she love me
But she leave me
I fix my luggage and goes to the staff so that they can accompany me and goes straight to the plane
I received a great offer from U.S they want me to help the other doctors there, and i think this will be a better way to move on from her
I sit near at the window and gets my coffee and took a sip on it
I didn't notice that i fall asleep, so i immediately opened my eyes as i notice that the plane already landed
Then i get my things and goes out from the arrivals area and look for taxi
Many taxi's was waiting for some passengers that's why i didn't find it hard to find one because many of them was parked at the side
I immediately gets inside in the taxi and i says my place at the driver
*ring *ring *ring
I get my phone and answered the call "yes?" i asked [doctor lee chan are you already here in states?] it's Tracy my co doctor "yeah, just awhile ago why?" i asked [really? Where are you? I'm going to pick you up] she offers "no need, i already brought a taxi" i said then i heard her frown then i chuckles "bye doctor tracy kim" i said then hangs up the call
After some minutes i already here at the condominium building that i brought two years ago, this condo should be our home with (y/n)
She didn't know about this yet, and now i didn't have a chance to say this to her because she left
As i get inside i already goes to the bathroom and take a bath and immediately sleeps, Tommorow is my first day so i need to get there early
By the flash of light coming from the sun, i slowly opened my eyes and did my morning rituals
Then i goes to the car that the hospital provided at me, this thier gift because i agreed with this offer
While driving, i observed the surrounding
People wears mask, they aren't allowed to have some skin ship with strangers even to thier families
The world changes, this crisis is the most hardest thing that people encountered especially for a doctor like us, we don't have to die, we need to save
I parked my car and goes inside at the hospital
"oh? Doctor lee welcome" the head doctor greeted me "thank you sir" i said "oh by the way thier an infected patient in room 17 she will be your first patient here in states it's been a month since she was confined, that's why we get you here doctor lee, so that you can take care of her until she dies" the director said
Months? She's strong infected people didn't last long
I nodded and goes to my room, i started to wear my lab gown, then i heard the door that opens
"doctor lee?" i look at her "what is it tracy?" i asked "si (y/n)" i stopped "what's with her?" "nothing hehe tinry ko lang na banggitin ang pangalan nya hehe i thought you'll gonna say that you don't want to hear her name again" she said
Yeah i don't want to hear her name, because i want to hear her voice
Then i forced a smile "okay, excuse me i need to go to room 17, i want to see my patient before i check her up" then i passes infront of her but she holds my wrist " pupunta ka sa room 17?" she asked then i nodded "yeah why?" i asked "n-nothing" she said
At pumunta nako sa 3rd floor
Then i started to count those door that i passes
13, 14, 15, 16, "17" i said
In this floor, this was the floor we're all infected people was confined
May malaking glass wall kada room, kaya makikita mo kung sino ang nasa loob
Then i started to look inside in this room 17
Hindi pako naka sout ng personal protective equipment ko, i will just look at my patient, hindi ko pa sya echecheck
Then i step forward until i reach the thick glass wall
I saw nothing, no one's inside
But suddenly the comfort room opens then i look at it, but my eyes widened
I saw a thin girl, she looks weak, she's so pale, but she is still pretty
My tears fell and says "(y/n)?" i said, alam kong hindi nyako maririnig dahil sa kapal ng glass wall
Then someone holds my hand "dino" it's tracy she said while holding back her tears then i still look inside
"(y/n)!!!!!" i shouted then the girl looks at my direction then stops and dropped the book that she holds
Ikaw nga "it's you" i said then my tears fell
I saw her covering her mouth while she starts to cry
Is this the reason thats why you leave me?
Then she come to me, and put her hands on the glass pane "dino" she said weakly "I'm sorry" she said then i also put my hand in the glass pane towards her hand "(y/n)" hindi ko na napigilan ang damdamin ko at napaluha nako "I'm so sorry for not telling this to you, i was afraid that's why i immediately fly here in U. S ayokong mahawa ka sakin" she said then cries
Damn! I miss her so bad! I want to hug her!
I goes to the front door and about to open her door but tracy stopped me "hey dino! Don't!" then i looks at her "no! I want to be with her!" i said
I can also hear (y/n) inside telling me not to get in but i didn't care
I started to kick the door while my tears was keep on falling until it finally opened
I saw her gasped but i immediately ran towards her but she stopped me" "don't come near me!" she said while crying then my tears fell "baby please let me" i said with cracked voice "dino please go out! Please! Don't touch me! Don't come near at me! I don't want you to be like me! Dino please!" she said
Then i cried and let out a bitter smile "if that's what you want" i said then i saw her tears and mouthed "thanks" she said "if that's what you want" my tears fell and continues "i won't do it" i said then comes to her and pulled her nape and kisses her torridly
I don't care if i get infected too, i don't care if i die! I want to be with her
And i want to die with her
