The intrinsic feeling of peace as I said goodbye to the sun is all I knew.
Yellow and blue faded into an orange and purple sunset as the moon came out to say hello.
I hate to admit it but I kind of miss the skyscrapers and construction sites in the noisy downtown streets.
I miss the sidewalks that glimmer in the sunshine.
I miss the clouds that would paint dream-like shapes.
I'd grown fond of being busy.
What happened to the days when I could lock myself away with a book for hours
Now it seems like I'm picking flowers for every day spent locked away.
