The life I never had (Twice X Male Reader) [COMPLETED]

Y/N POV

My head is in so much pain, but the grass beneath me is so soft. 

Wait a minute, this isn't grass. Where am I?

I get up and look around. My body just kicked into full alert mode. I try to call P.A.B.O but it isn't responding. That's not good.

I take in my surroundings. It seems as I am in someone's house. Question is, whose house did I end up in? Last thing i remember, we were on Arkadia fighting a group of raiders called BTS. But we got beaten so badly that I asked P.A.B.O to retreat with the last of his fluid. Right, that reminds me, P.A.B.O's out of fluid. I'm gonna need to make more. Then, I passed out on soft grass. My eyes wander the room as I calm down. Eventually I see P.A.B.O in the corner charging. Someone must have plugged it in last night.

I go over to it and start it up. Once its fully operational, i pull up records of our last transport. 

I can't believe my eyes. We are on Earth, sector-30904. What luck! There isn't portal fluid anywhere near this useless rock! Location suggests we are in Seoul, Korea. I'm gonna need to find the minerals I need to make fluid. 

P.A.B.O wakes and greets me, it explains the situation as I try to make a plan. So some girl named Mina brought me into this dorm and there are 8 others that are named Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo the leader, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu. A few names stand out from this list. Momo, Sana and Mina aren't korean names. Tzuyu definitely isn't a korean name. Could they be foreigners? 

I hear a sound from the corridor and see 9 heads peek out from the side of the wall. How long have they been there? One by one they come out and introduce themselves.

"Hana, dul, set, One In a Million. Annyeonghaesayo, Twice ibnida!" they said in a very organized form. Seems like they have been doing this for years now. I had no idea what they said but they all look stunning and beautiful.

"$&%*()*!:"{}|*-" I replied. All of them gave weird looks.

I then realized my Universal translator was short circuited. I quickly tapped my temple and accessed the translator to reboot it. Then, in perfect Korean, I said:" Hello, My name is Y/N. It's nice to meet you all. I didn't catch what you all said just now but i assume that you are a group named TWICE, right?"

All of them nodded their heads. Guess it's working again.

"Alright, according to my robot here, it says that Mina brought me here, right? Who's Mina?"

"Me." The quiet girl raised her hand high. I looked at her and thanked her for bringing me in here. It seems like they don't know what i actually do. better keep it a secret for now. Don't want BTS to find me here. 

"I must be going. I apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you all once again for letting me spend the night here. If there's anything I can do for you, just tell me." I said as I turned to leave.

"Actually, there is one thing...." The one named Jihyo spoke up. 

I stopped in my tracks. "And that is?"

"Well, we are actually pretty famous around here and there are some people here that want to harm us. We were wondering if you could be our personal bodyguard for some time until he/she gets caught. We can go ask JYP if he will hire you!" Jihyo answered.

This JYP guy sounds pretty familiar. I don't know whether I've heard that name before on one of my adventures.

I thought about it. It would be nice to take a break while trying to find stuff to make portal fluid. I wonder if this is my chance to have a normal life, the life I never got to live. If I get the job that is. If he does a background check, I can always hack the system and get someone's background records. Shouldn't be too hard.

"Deal, but only if he hires me. If not, then it was nice knowing you girls." I shook her hand.

She then excused herself to call someone.

The other 8 then came and showered me with questions. Where was I from? What was my job? Where did I live? How old was I? Who is my Bias?

I answered most of them, with half-truths of course. They can't know who or what I am, yet. Except that last one. I didn't know what a bias was. I haven't been on Earth for a long time. Last time I was here, I was 15 years old. Now i'm 20. Time flies fast doesn't it?

I silently asked P.A.B.O to search what a bias was. It sent the info to my lens and i quickly read through. Apparently a "bias" is a favorite individual in a pop music group. I looked around at the 8 girls in front of me and decided that there wasn't a favorite in the group. They all looked great and had incredible personalities. 

Jihyo came back after a while and asked me to follow her. I would normally bring P.A.B.O along but people would be freaked out by a floating robot following a suspicious dude into a car. 

I told P.A.B.O to communicate through channel 4. He obliged and switched channels. Then, I followed Jihyo out of the dorm and into the car. Apparently she was driving.

Along the way, Jihyo bombarded me with questions about me. Makes sense since she wasn't with the others when they did their QnA. I answered her questions with the same answers as the others. Lucky for me, being sent on missions has helped my ability to make up more convincing lies than others. 

"Enough about me, what about you? I've never heard of a pop music group having 9 members." I asked, hoping to get some information. 

"Well, we formed a few years ago. JYP had this competition called "SIXTEEN" and we all joined and won. I became the leader of the group after a unanimous vote by the others. I never thought that we would still be going but here we are. I am so proud of the other members and what we have been able to accomplish." Jihyo answered.

"Wow, you guys have really worked hard to get this far. Now it's finally paying off. Great work!" I complimented. Jihyo smiled. She put on some of their songs in the car and I found them quite catchy.

We talked until we reached our destination. JYP Building. Why do I feel nervous? And why does the name JYP ring a bell?
