Hidden From Fate

This is important.

Before we start the chapter I wanted to talk about The GREAT PROPHECY

So in this AU Percy never goes to camp. So he never has all the stuff that happens in the books happen to him.

Here's a basic timeline on how things go instead:

Annabeth goes on the quest for the lightning bolt with Luke and Grover.

Then Annabeth goes with Clarisse on the Sea of Monsters quest.

Thalia goes to save Annabeth and Artemis in the titans curse. Bianca and Zoe still die BUT THALIA DOES NOT JOIN THE HUNT.

NICO does NOT leave camp. He's still edgy and he does occasionally leave the camp but he always comes back.

Thalia went with Annabeth through the labyrinth and Thalia brought Rachel, who she met at the dam.

Thalia was the one who helped defeat Kronos/Luke and all that.

During the Battle of Manhattan Percy did help defend Olympus but he was with the rest of the hunters.

The Heroes of Olympus hasn't happened because Percy wasn't taken to Camp Juipiter. (Same with Jason)

Yeah, I know its confusing. Also, there is no more year jumps after this one. Percy is 17 in this chapter and it stays that way.

3 Years Later

Percy awoke with a start.

He sat up, breathing heavily.

It was just a dream. It was just a dream. He told himself.

It couldn't be real. It couldn't be real.

He felt shaken. He knew it couldn't have been real.

It felt...so real.

He wiped the sweat from his forehead.

His mind raced at with the dark images he saw in his head.

I need to talk with my mother. He decided. He got up and dressed himself in the typical hunters attire and stepped out, breathing in the cool summer night air.

He knew his mother would likely be in her tent. It was a new moon, so her chariot wouldn't be flying over the night sky.

He walked to her tent, the wolves who guarded the camp watching him.

Once he approached her tent he stopped. He heard hushed voices inside. They stopped once he stood outside.

"Mother, may I enter?" He asked quietly.

"You may." She said quietly.

Percy opened the tent and saw Apollo and his mother sitting across from one another.
