Missing Piece Of My Heart

Chapter 8

Gulf woke up at 7:00 next day morning. As much as he loves to sleep but when it comes to work he is quite professional. He has to give an interview for a magizine and a photoshoot for the same today. After he finished his morning routines, he got dressed and waited for Mild to come."Should I call Phi Mew or just line him about my schedule. What if he get embarassed if I call him. But Phi Mew said he has to talk to me about work, wouldn't it be unproffesional of me to just sent a message." Thought Gulf. He decided to give Mew a call after some time as it was just 8:00 in the morning and seeing how wasted the latter was last night it would be better to call later.

Mild was driving Gulf to the studio, seeing Gulf unusually quiet he decided to break the silence."I think it is a great oppurtunity if you get to work with MSE, they are currently among the top 3 companies in the country." Gulf just nodded his head in agreement."What is wrong with you? You are really silent today".
Gulf sighead and replied"Not now Mild, we will talk later."
"Alright but we are definetly going to have a talk, you can't escape".
They have reached the studio and Gulf was getting his makeup and hair done. It was at that time he decided to call Mew.

Meanwhile Mew woke up with a terrible headache, he checked his phone and saw it was already 8:00 am. He was running late for office. He brushed and had a quick shower then took an aspirin and went down for breakfast. Rest of the family were already there at the table."Good morning everyone" Mew wished his family and joined them for breakfast. No matter how late or busy he was, he always tries to never miss the breakfast with his family. They just had their usual morning talks and he left for his office.
He entered his cabin and settled down on his chair. He was all set to start his day, it was then he recieved a call from Gulf.
"Hello, Good morning Gulf. Oh ! That's great if you are free in the afternoon how about we have a meeting at to in the afternoon at my office, only if it is convinient for you. Okay, then let's meet afternoon."
He took his office phone to call his secretary "Pufai please come into my cabin". 'Knock-Knock'. "Yes come in"."Good morning Mew" greeted Pufai. "Good morning. When is the board meeting. Is Tong attending? And one more thing Gulf will be here at about two in the afternoon, inform the reception and arrange someone to lead them here." Tong was one among the major share holders.
"It will be taken care of Sir.The board meeting is at 11:30 am and Tong said he would be here by 11:15 am. How much did you drink Mew." Pufai asked."One bottle of baccardi I guess." replied Mew.
Pufai's eyes widened in shock she knew for someone like Mew who had less alcohol tolerance it was too much, but she really felt there was something different about him today, a good difference. She chose to keep the thoughts to herself. "That's all for now, you may leave Pufai."
If you keep the terrible headache he had in the morning aside he was perfectly fine today. He felt more relaxed and peaceful. He felt very fresh and light hearted. It was the first time in the last ten years he felt so free and relaxed. "Didn't know a bottle of Baccardi could do such wonders." Thought Mew.

Meanwhile Mild felt that there was something odd about Gulf today. They have already finished the interview and photoshoot and were on their way to MSE. The building from outside looked grand and tall. Mild went to the reception as soon as they entered the building."Welcome to MSE how can I help you Sir?"

"We have an appointment with Mr Suppasit, Gulf Kanawut and Mild Suttinat." Please come this way Sir". The receptionist lead them to a room.The room was simple yet elegant."Please be seated. Sir Mew would be here by 2:20, he has asked me to apologize to you on his behalf for the delay." With that they were left alone in the room. Mild knew he had enough time to interrogate his best friend. "Come on shoot. I can't wait anymore. I have been observing you since the morning, don't you dare tell me there is nothing"said Mild. Gulf knew he can't escape from Mild so he explained all that had happened  yesterday."OMG, so you mean Mr Mew is that guy...but does it matter anymore, you are over him, anyway it was just a mere childhood crush."
"No it was not" said Gulf glaring at Mild." Oh come on Gulf don't tell me you were in love, you were just a 12 year old kid for godsake and most importantly you just met him once" said Mild to a still glaring Gulf.
" I said I was over him because I thought I would never meet him again. Yes I was just 12 ,I was too young to realise what my feelings were, that doesn't mean what I had for him was not love, you understand Mild, you better understand."Gulf said angrly.
"OK chill bro I take my words back, happy. Now tell me what is your plan.?"said Mild. "For now I don't have a plan but I have decided no matter what I will take Phi Mew out of this mess. I will make him experience the feeling of being in love and loved once again." Gulf what if he doesn't fall for you and...what if he doesn't like men"? Mild interrupted Gulf. Mild didn't want Gulf to have high hopes, the last thing he want is Gulf to get hurt.

"Mild I never said it must be me. It could be anyone. I will be happy as long as he is happy. I just wan't him to live for himself once again. I don't want to listen to him crying again. Every heart has a void that is meant to be filled only by one particular piece like in a puzzle. If I am that missing piece of his heart then, then even Phi Mew can't stop me from fitting into it, because that is where I belong. If it is not me then I should give way for the right person. But I believe in destiny Mild, as I have crossed paths with him once again I strongly believe that fate has something in store for us. I don't want a happy ending for us ,what I want is an infinite passion of love."
What Gulf didn't know was it was not just Mild who was listening to him.
