Chapter 10

Mew pulled back his lips when he realised what he had done.Both the men moved to the two distant ends of the couch avoiding each other.Both of them were quiet.After a few minutes of awkward silence Gulf spoke "Phi it's really late, I think we should sleep." Mew nodded in agreement.Neither Mew nor Gulf mentioned the kiss.They lay on either sides of the bed with their backs facing each other.Both the men pretended to sleep when their brains were clouded with many thoughts.
'Did Phi regret it.?Is that why he wasn't talking to me?Oh!God will I not even get a chance to show Phi Mew how much he means to me.'Gulf's heart ached with all these confusing thoughts.
Meanwhile Mew's thought's were different "WTH is wrong with me,why did I kiss him?He was just trying to help me, ease my pain and I had to mess it up.What will he think about me now? Will he think that I am an oppurtunist?Why did it feel so good? May be it's because I have not been with anyone after Jane.
Both the men slept thinking what the other would have thought about them.

Mew was the first to wake up, he saw that Gulf was still asleep. Mew couldn't help but simply stare at the sleeping figure beside him.Mew started to notice many things about the younger male that he otherwise didn't pay attention to.He noticed how small his ears were,yet it looked cute on him,his thick eyebrows,thick wavy hair,choclate toned skin and those pink rose lips.The sight of those pink lips brought back the previous night's memories in him,he quickly brushed it off and left for the bathroom.When he came out he saw that Gulf was still sleeping,he thought of making breakfast for both of them.It was the least he could considering what the younger one had done for him.
Mean while Gulf woke up to find Mew's side empty."Did he leave without telling me.Was it that bad kissing me?" With those thoughts in head he got up and walked out of the bed rubbing his eyes.

Gulf you woke up. Good morning.
Phi you didn't leave !!!
Oh..you wanted me to leave.You could have atleast wished me morning nong.Mew said a little dejected.Oho Gulf what have you done, you messed up again(Gulf said in his mind).Phi I didn't mean it like that, when I didn't find you in the room I thought you left without telling me, you were angry and disgusted by me.
Mew was startled,he  felt a hint of sadness in those words.
Gulf you showed me how wrong I was and helped me out from the mess I have created myself.How can I be angry with you.Now tell me why did you think I will feel disgusted by you.Care to explain.Gulf stayed silent fidgeting  his fingers.
Phi ....I ...no ..I mean we ...both are men and yesterday..Nong...I don't feel disgusted..You don't really Phi..No Gulf I didn't it's...it's just...Gulf found Mew was finding it difficult to speak, he was not ready to speak about it.Phi ...leave it...now I know you are not angry that's enough for me.Now tell me what are you doing in my kitchen.Oh I forgot see I made breakfast for us.It's just baccon,eggs and toast.
Let me just freshen up , and then we can eat together.

How is it? Mm ..not bad...how did you learn cooking.
I learned cooking for the twins.Emma was a picky eater, Ethan wasn't any different but still better than princess. If we give her omelette, she would ask for cereals and when we give her cereals she want's something else.If she loves carrots today she hates it the  next day.Mom  would always give into her demands.Then I felt I should also know some basics I can't always depend on Mom, afterall they are my children.You know something Gulf parenting is one of the easiest things to give opinions on but it is one of the hardest things to do.Everday you get to learn something new,infact you grow and learn along with them.
Phi now I feel like, having one.But I really don't whether I will make a good parent.
Gulf there is nothing like a perfect parent or as I said it's a learning process, you just need to go along with the flow.

After breakfast Mew left for office after borrowing one of Gulf's shirt.
At office Mew was really busy with the upcomming launch of their new products. Knock..knock..Yes come in...."Your black coffee Mew and this is the list you asked me."
Thank you Pufai."I would be on leave on monday and tuesday.You know with the parents leaving tomorrow Tong suggested that even we should go for a short vacation, with his busy schedules it has been a long time since we had one."
That's really nice, enjoy your time with family you don't have to worry about work it's nothing that I cannot manage. "Why don't you and kids join too.
"With the upcoming launch we both can't be away from the company I will take the twins on a vacation after the lauch of BELLEZA and that time you need to manage works for me."Ofcourse Mew, but you need to spend more time with twins, with your parents leaving tomorrow they need you more." mmm... Thankyou Pufai and... I need you to contact Mild and ask about when is Gulf's shcedule free and then we can schedule the add shoot according to it. "Yes I will see to that ,that's it I will take my leave now."
Mew left the office a little early than usual."Son you are home.You need to talk with the children something seems off about them.I don't know what to do, they are not telling me anything".Mom you don't need to worry, I will talk to them .You just carry on with your packing.I will take care of everything else.
When Mew entered he found that the usual noisy room was silent today.The twins where never quiet to this extent if the situation is not serious.Mew setteled on one of the twin's bed."Tell me what is that made my babies sad or if it is someone whom should I beat up this time.Mew recieved no respose, the children still sat with their heads down."Please talk to daddy, you both know that I can't bear to see you upset." Suddenly the twins hugged their dad so tight.Mew was confused by their sudden action still he hugged them back."We will miss Nana and Pop's.No one will bake cookies and cupcakes for us when we are back from school from now on." Said Ethan."It will be just three of us at home and you are too busy then it will just me and Ethan and the workers, it won't feel nice dad."
He knew that the twins would be upset,but this was a bit more than he expected.Please don't be upset, daddy will come home as early as possible and about cookies and cupcake, I don't know whether I will be able to bake them when you are back from school but how about three of us baking them together on every sunday.Emma and Ethan nodded their heads.Now can my babies smile a little, even I am sad about them leaving but we can't show them that, we don't want them to be sad too, do we?No right, now let's go down , your Nana has cooked something special for you both.With that Mew knew he was able to lift their mood up for no,but he need to something else for what he has to do after his parent's leave.

Friday night they went to airport to see of his parents and as expected both the twins and his parents were crying.Mew assured his parents that both Emma and Ethan would be alright within a day or two.Back home he tucked them to bed and kissed them good night.He have already planned a surprise for them the next day.
What surprised Mew was about how exited he was about it.He couldn't help but just smile when he thought about the surprise he has planned.Next day, Mew woke up as usual,he needed to get ready before we wakes up the twins.
After shower he wore something casual, but made sure that he was looking presentable and left to wake up the kids.
The kids were seated at the back while Mew was driving, "Dad were are we going" asked Ethan."It's a surprise cupcake."Mew parked his car at one place and waited."Dad why did we stop here and who are we waiting for? Asked Emma."You will see when he comes princess, look he is already here" Phi Gulf shouted the twins together.Mew called Gulf the night before his parents left when he knew how his babies were upset about it.He was sure that Gulf could help him cheer up his kids and he could see that his plan has worked.He still doesn't why this handsome young man  has such magical effects on his kids.
