Chapter 14

Mew's POV

I have heard about how people's life changed overnight, but experiencing it is different.Untill yesterday I was just a businessman and  single dad, but today I have a rumored boyfriend  who is also my soon to be fiance.
I have never pictured myself with a man, not that I am homophobic or something, it's just that the thought I would be engaged to a man have not even once crossed my mind.

My life was always filled with unexpected events, may be this engagement is one among them .I hope this one year goes well for both of us. I am  amazed at how fast I accepted Tong's idea of an engagement , but I know things would have been different if it wasn't Gulf.

Oho! it's already eight I think I will order takeout, I am too lazy too cook today. I think I should ask the cook to work on weekends too, I don't mind giving extra payments. I badly need a coffee, my brain have done too much thinking.

Gulf what are you doing in the kitchen. " Cooking dinner for us."
You didn't have to I was about to order something from outside.
" Phi we have already eaten yesterday and today from outside, it's unhealthy phi especially for the kids.Homemade food are the best."
So you can cook.I mean is it edible?
" Yes it is, come on phi it's not that bad. Initially I had no idea about cooking when I say that I meant I didn't even know how to boil noodles.Then when I started living alone I got bored of takeouts, I really missed mamma's cooking, so I decided to master the art of cooking, mamma taught me simple recipies through vedio calls and  now I can cook almost everything.So don't worry my fried rice is edible."

To be frank I entirely ignored the reason why I came to the kitchen in first place. "Phi I have made pudding can you take it out from the fridge".
I did as he asked, I guess it's  caramel pudding.

" Phi come here, just taste this and see." He held a spoon towards me. It tasted amazing, I have to admit that he is a far better cook than me. Before I could comment about his cooking skills, he did something unpredicted. I felt his soft fingers brushing against my lips. His fingers were warm from the heat. His actions caught my breath slightly, I stood frozen, staring at him. "There was a rice grain on your lips".At the very next moment he finished his words, I noticed a change of expression on his face.I could see he was baffled at his own actions.
" I ... I am sorry...I was ...I mean I didn't think...." he was struggling to find words. But it was too late I can't let this chance go when he had a good time teasing me yesterday.
