Chapter 15

Buzz...buzzz...Is it morning this soon thought Mew.He was about to rise up as usual, but then he felt his arms aching and noticed something heavy on them.
He opened his eyes only to witness his soon to be fiance sleeping soundly on his arms with the latters hand wound tightly against his waist.

He cautiously placed Gulf's head on the pillow taking utmost care not to wake him up in the process.
He sat up and stretched his sore arms. For a moment, he gazed in awed silence at the sleeping figure beside him.He never envisioned the younger male to look more innocent than he already was.

Mew's hands spontaneously moved toward Gulf's head, he couldn't resist the urge to run his finger's through those thick wavy strands. Later on he left for shower leaving the latter to sleep for a little longer, while a contented smile appeared on the sleeping face which was left unnoticed by the former.

Gulf woke up with a warm fuzzy feeling inside him.Last night he had one of the most refreshing and contented sleep of his life. He could still sense the lingering feel of Mew's lips on his forehead. He was in no mood to get up , instead he tightened his hold around the man next to him and dived closer to relish the warmthness the latter provided.

Gulf could hear the buzzing of alarm. Should I wake up or move away, but then I wanted to know how will he react to find me like this beside him. Did his actions mean something or was he just going  along with the flow.
Gulf was drowning in a mess of unfinished thoughts.The sensation of long slender fingers brushing through his hairs caught his attention. That was unforseen by him.With his breath caught in the chest, he resisted his desire to lean into the touch.

Gulf gasped in relief as Mew left.
What was that for...OMG Gulf don't blush, you can't let him no you were awake all these time.Should I  get up before he is back or should I wait for him to wake me up. But Gulf's fiance need to master the art of waking him up. Gulf told himself. He quickly layed down silently as he heard the bathroom door click open.

Holy crap.....is he trying to make me lose my mind. He smells naturally like petrichor, but now with a hint of sandalwood mixed with it, feels heavenly.
Damn....not now Gulf, think of something else before you embarass yourself infront of him.
Gulf could feel all the blood draining from his face and he knew exactly were it was going.

Gulf knew he has to spend a whole year in this room and sleep on this very bed, the last thing he want is to let Mew know that even his smell could have significant impact on him.
Wake up Gulf...nong get up...don't you have a morning schedule today.Mew tried waking him up while the younger one never moved an inch.
Gulf felt the older male walking away .Did he give up at first attempt?he thought.

All of a sudden he felt something  cold pressed across his neck.
"Aww...that was out of blue phi." Gulf sat up all of sudden.
See I knew it...nong did you forget that I have been waking up two kids since the last few years, so waking up a third one isn't a big deal.Your tricks won't work with me nong, so be the good boy you are and get going.

Gulf felt a sudden heat spread over his ears, how he wished he could hide them.
But phi what was that?
....Oh that's just a cold beer ....there is a mini fridge in here if you didn't notice.
"Who said I was playing tricks, I just wanted to test whether you will be able to wake me up and I am not a kid. Gulf said with a little pout on his lips.
Oh!! So how well did I do?asked Mew trying very hard not to laugh.
This is the first and last time you are waking me up like that Phi.

There appeared a mischevious smirk on Mew's face just after Gulf's words.
Now what is he upto? Oh God either knowingly or unknowingly this man never leaves a stone in embarassing me, thought Gulf.
Mew bent down a little and deliberatly inched his face closer to Gulf's " then how do you want me to wake you up my prince"?
Gulf was dumbstruck for a moment, he tossed a pillow at Mew before making a quick run to the bathroom and locking himself in while he could hear chuckles from the bedroom.

Both the men left on their own ways after promising the twins to meet at school in the evening.
"So care to give me details about your night?"
Why don't you keep your eyes straight on the road Mild?
" Hey you had bombarded me with questions when I had my first sleep over at Boat's place just after we started daiting, even if you don't remember I do. So you owe me a detailed explanation dude."
Gulf had no other way but brief about his blissfull moments with Mew to his best friend.

"That's a great start....Gulf we can never no what our fate is, it is inevitable, but it is not same about destiny ,you make your own destiny. I never want you to get hurt, but that doesnt mean I don't want you to try. As you have got a chance now, please make the best of it.The end result may or may not be in your favour, but still at the end you will be free of regrets."
You know something you are really irritating at times, but I can never trade you for anybody else.
Gulf meant every single word he said,nobody could take Mild's place in his life.

Mild what should I wear today in the evening?
I am so sorry Gulf, it slipped out from my mind to tell you before. Phi Tong suggested something and I think it's a good one. What about wearing couple outfits, I have already made the arrangements. Anyways you both would be trending again so why don't we make it a bit more fascinating.
Gulf had to comply to his manager's wish as what he said made point.

Mean while in the school Emma and Ethan were tired of answering their friends, but at the same time they had no complaints regarding it.
" Will phi Gulf come in the evening?" One of their classmate asked.
" Ofcourse he would. He is family now and he had even promised to meet you all" replied Emma proudly. While Emma was really excited about the current situation Ethan as usual remained calm and neutral.

"Even my uncle would be here to watch me perform."
That was Sarah, no matter what Emma could never stand that girl, and what made it more intolerable was her own brother had a crush on her sworn enemy.
"That' s really good Sarah, but is'nt it his first time here to watch you. Uncle Tong had always been there every year for us."
I don't know about yours,but my uncle is really a busy actor and this time he really tried hard to make time for me, Sarah countered back.

Ethan very well knew it was time for him to interrupt the girls."That's really sweet of him Sarah, he really cares for you." Yes he do Ethan.
"Emma come on let's have a final practice" saying that he dragged his sister who was all set to explode. It was decided that Ethan would play keyboard with Emma in the vocals.
What was that Ethan, she insulted uncle Tong.
You are the one who started it though,Ethan replied in a stern voice.
Seriously, you are my brother Ethan, you are supposed to take my side and not her's.
I wasn't taking sides, dad and phi Gulf have enough to deal with, and I don't want you to start a fight with her and end up at principal's office and then get dad invited for a short PTM meeting.
Emma pouted her lips and stared at him angrily, even though she knew he was right, she was not totally convinced by his answer.

It was a chaos in greenroom. Children were busy with their costumes and makeup while some where rehearsing their parts in between and there were few parents too.
"Aren't they the Suppasit kids Clara. I really feel sorry for them.
What did Mr Suppasit see in him.Poor kids, I am sure Gulf want's nothing to do with the kids, he is just putting up a show.Who knew that the ever so smart Mr Suppasit would be fooled by a Gold digger. They are being deprived of a chance to get motherly affections."
Admist of all the chaos the twins heard him well, and he really meant it to be heard by them.

Excuse me Phi Joi, what happens in our family is none of your concern. You have no right to judge our dad and his choices when you no nothing about him."
Ethan was always a boy of few words, but this time he couldn't sit back and listen someone insulting his dad.
" We are not deprived of motherly love , our mom has loved us enough for a lifetime.Who did you call gold digger and how do you know he don't want us. You better get this into your head that our Papa loves us just as our dad does.
You understand, you better understand." Emma shouted out all that she had held inside her since afternoon and the fact that Joi was Sarah's uncle just ignited the fire in her, temper was one thing that she had proudly inherited from her dad.

While Mew and Gulf silently witnessed the scene.Mew felt so proud of his kids, he really appreciated how they stood up against Joi, while Gulf was in tears, none of Joi's words bothered him, because the only word that echoed in his ears was ......Paaaapa..
