The next day the doctors informed the team that Emily was ready to go home but could not return to work for a few more weeks due to the scattered small burns she still had. "Emily, make sure to change your bandages regularly as well as apply to cream okay?" Emily smiled and nodded, she thanked the doctors for their help and started to try and get ready before realizing she didn't have her clothes anymore. JJ gasped and covered her mouth "Em I am so sorry. I forgot to ask Spencer to grab them." The brunette just chuckled before sitting down and calling the youngest team member into the room. He ran in and agreed to go grab some clothes from the motel, the team was already packing up to leave so it wouldn't have been an issue. Emily waited until he had left before looking at JJ who seemed upset which cause the older to frown. "Hey what's wrong?" She asked as she took JJ's warm hand into her own, JJ sighed and leaned her head on Emily's shoulder "I need to have a talk with Will.." Emily then realized that she had never actually asked JJ if she wanted to be with her, she lifted the blonde's chin up and met her eyes "JJ...are you sure you want this? I mean...are you sure you want to be with me?" JJ looked at her then rose a brow "Be with you? I think I missed the part where you asked me out" Emily blushed and smiled sheepishly "Jennifer Jareau, do you want-" before she could finish JJ had leaned in and gave her a soft kiss "A million times yes" The two girls laughed and chattered back and forth until the team came back with a change of clothes for JJ and Emily as well as the rest of their things. Everyone was ready to get home.

Once the team had made it home JJ insisted that Emily allow her to stay with her so she can help take care of her, the brunette acted like she was on the fence about it when in reality it didn't take much convincing. The two girls made their way inside of Emily's apartment which allowed Emily to plop down on the couch with a sigh of relief. She hadn't done much at all and was already tired. "Em why don't you go lay down? The doctor said you need to rest." Emily frowned and looked at the blonde "But I wanna spend time with you." JJ laughed and walked over to her and gave her a sweet kiss "I promise I will be here when you wake up okay? I'm gonna wash my clothes so I can wear something besides this." She gestured to herself and helped Emily up and to her bed. It didn't take long for Emily to fall asleep all sprawled out on her bed. JJ waited until she knew for sure that the older woman was asleep before she took a picture of her and giggled to herself. The blonde started her laundry and even threw some of Emily's in there just so she had some clean clothes, and then she sat on the couch and decided it was time to end things with Will.

Emily woke up to the sound of faint sniffled coming from the living room, she slowly got up and wobbled to JJ who was crying as quietly as she could. Emily walked up to her and sat beside her "hey...what is going on beautiful?" She furrowed her brows in confusion as she wrapped her arms around the woman she had come to love and pulled her as close as she could, not caring that it put some uncomfortable pressure on her burns. "I ended things with Will." Emily tilted her head so they made eye contact "But you're crying because...?" Then a smile appeared on JJ's face as some tears fell "Because now I am free. I don't have to worry about him anymore. I do have to worry about a place to live but I'm free." She put her hands on Emily's cheeks and looked into her soft brown eyes "I'm free to be with you." Emily pumped a fist into the air "YES!" her odd action caused JJ to laugh which made Emily smile. "God JJ I have waited for this for so long, HOWEVER I think you should live here....with me..." The blonde raised an eyebrow "are you sure about that?" Emily nodded "You're gonna be over here anyways so you might as well." JJ chuckled and nodded "You're right as usual." The brunette winked "I know I am. But hey JJ?" The younger woman looked at Emily "Yeah?" Emily blushed lightly "Can you help me shower? I smell like burnt arm hairs." JJ laughed and nodded in agreement, she helped Emily up and guided her to the bathroom.

JJ reached in and turned the water on before turning to Emily who was staring at herself in the mirror, she helped her remove the t-shirt she had been wearing. Emily grunted in pain which caused JJ to pull back slightly "JJ I'm okay, just a little sore is all." She nodded and continued helping her undress until there was nothing else left for her to remove. JJ looked at Emily from head to toe and smirked softly which cause Emily's cheeks to turn a bright red. "Oh stop it. I look nasty right now." The blonde glared at Emily "Don't say that. You look beautiful. All of you is beautiful Em." Emily mumbled something back but stood still with her arms across her chest as she waited for JJ to undress. JJ stripped and was the first one into the shower which gave Emily the opportunity to take in her toned body and beautiful curves, a quiet 'fuck' left her lips which surprised her and caused JJ to turn around "Em are you gonna stand there or get in with me?" She smirked before offering a hand to Emily and helping her inside. Emily bit the inside of her cheek due to the close contact she shared with JJ, she knew that they had already shared a few kisses and they already knew they loved each other but this was new for the both of them. Emily was standing behind JJ and decided she'd wrap her arms around her waist, pulling her against her chest. JJ gasped lightly at the sudden human contact but then turned around and wrapped her arms around Emily's neck and leaned in kissing her gently. Emily deepend the kiss slightly and held JJ close enough so that they were chest against chest. JJ's fingers went into Emily's hair gripping it slightly, causing a small breath to leave her mouth. JJ pulled back slightly "As much as i really want to continue this, your doctor said no activities that could hurt your burns." Emily groaned "Do we really have to listen to everything they say? God they are ruining my life." JJ rose a brow "Did they throw you into that house?" Emily pouted and shook her head slowly "no...but...oh who am I kidding. I'm a dumbass this is my punishment." The blonde smiled and kissed her one final time. "Well you're a cute one. Now let me wash you please." Emily allowed herself to be cleaned before they both got out. Emily had a towel wrapped around her body as did JJ, she grabbed her tan arms and pulled her into a tight hug and sighed happily

"I love you so so much JJ."

"I love you too Em."
