The day went by painfully slow for Emily, she was anxious for what the night held. She knew that the date idea she had in mind was good but she didn't know if it was good enough for JJ. Emily wanted everything to be perfect, the woman she had fallen for deserved nothing less than perfect. Every so often she'd glance around to make sure the blonde wasn't around so she could continue with her plan, she made reservations and ordered some flowers before clearing her search history and standing up. She walked over to JJ and gave her a tight hug "hey JJ, Hotch is letting me leave early. I need you to dress nice tonight so go back to your apartment and get dressed okay?" She gave her a kiss on her cheek "Love you. Be careful, I'll be there to get you at 7 okay?" Before JJ had time to say anything Emily was out the door.

JJ wasn't sure why Emily was in such a hurry or why she was acting so weird but she didn't question it. After she finished her work for the day she said goodbye to everyone and headed to her car, she wasn't very into the idea of having to go back to the apartment she had previously shared with Will and prayed to God that he wouldn't be there. She rolled her windows down and turned her radio on a little louder than she probably should have but she didn't care. As she drove, her blonde hair flowed around with the wind guiding it straight into her face.   JJ had finally arrived back at her old home and sighed with relief, there was no sign of Will. She got out and went inside to try and find something to wear, she still had nearly two and a half hours before she had to be ready for Emily to come and get her. She had no clue as to what Emily was planning but she knew she had to trust the brunette, she walked over to her closet while humming softly to herself. Her long fingers brushed against the variety of fabrics before the settled on a black dress. She bit her lip and pulled it off the hanger and walked to the bed where she sat and removed her clothes. JJ pulled the dress up and over her toned legs until it was all the way on, the fabric hugged every curve it possibly could which showcased her body even more than her usual clothes did. It was long sleeves and dipped down just so there was barely any cleavage showing, she smirked knowing that it was going to drive Emily crazy. She paired the dress with black heels and her touched up makeup.

Emily rushed around making sure that everything was as she wanted it, before she knew it the time was closer to picking up JJ. She hurried home and looked through her closet to pick some clothes and settled on a red dress, one she only wore for special occasions. Her actions were quick as she pulled it on and matched it with red heels. The way the red paired with her pale skin and dark hair was indescribable. Emily checked the time and gasped "Oh shit." She was running out of time and still had to pick up the flowers she had ordered for JJ. She grabbed her car keys and jogged as fast as she could in her heels to her car. Emily knew that JJ didn't necessarily need or want a big surprise but she knew that she was worth it, but knowing she was worth it was what made Emily so nervous. She was scared she was going to mess up and lose not only her best friend, but the love of her life, it was a thought that made her sick to her stomach. After getting the flowers she drove to JJ's and took a deep breath as she parked. Emily grabbed the flowers and made her way to the door, her palms began to sweat as she knocked on the door. JJ opened the door to reveal a very surprised and flustered Emily who could only stare in shock at the goddess-like woman in front of her.

Emily's mouth fell open as she took in the sight in front of her, a small "holy fuck" was all she could muster out which caused JJ to blush and giggle. "Emily close your mouth before a bug flies in." Emily cleared her throat and handed the bouquet of pink roses to JJ, "You look absolutely stunning Jen, I can't even begin to tell you how beautiful you are." JJ's heart swelled with nothing but pure love and adoration for Emily, the flowers were beautiful and smelled so sweet but she couldn't keep her eyes off of Emily. She took in every detail of the brunette starting with the way her hair framed her face and fell down her shoulders in a wave of dark tones. Her eyes slowly fell down to Emily's exposed collarbones, they seemed to glisten from the light that was coming from inside JJ's home. "Emily you look beautiful." She walked up to her and kissed her softly, she pulled back and smiled "Can you tell me where we are going?" Emily shook her head and smirked as she guided JJ to the car, "Not a chance Hot stuff."

Emily pulled up outside an Italian restaurant called "Sapori E Dintorni", she made her way to JJ's door and opened it but before JJ could get out she stopped her and shook her head. "No no, this is a surprise so that means I need to cover your eyes." JJ huffed and nodded "Okay Em, this isn't some Fifty shades of Grey shit is it? While I am not opposed to some of it not all of it-" She was cut off by Emily's lips being placed firmly against her own as a way to shut her up. "JJ just trust me okay?" The blonde nodded and allowed Emily to put a blind fold on her and guide her out of the car. Emily led her inside and through the building to the back where a small garden was, in the very middle of the garden was a table for two. The table and chairs were a white wired set with navy blue cushions and place mats, the table was complete by the vase of multi-colored roses and mini tea lights. Above the garden was stringed lights which illuminated just the table and seemed to block out the rest of the world, the air smelled sweet from all the flowers that surrounded the table. "Are you ready?" Emily asked as she nervously bit her lip, JJ nodded and opened her eyes as the blind fold came off. She gasped and looked around before looking back to Emily. "You did this all for me?" Small tears began to form in JJ's eyes as she covered her quivering lips, Emily furrowed her brows and moved closer to JJ "Hey what's wrong? Do you not like it? If not we can go somewhere else I don't mind." The blonde shook her head and wrapped her arms around Emily's neck "No, I love it. This is perfect, You are perfect Em." Emily smiled and held her close with a sigh of happiness "Of course I did this for you, you deserve the best. But come on, I'm starving." She guided JJ to the table and pulled her chair out for her before sitting down herself.

As the night moved a long, the two women ate dinner and dessert and were now slow dancing to 'Amore mio aiutami' a slow ballad. JJ's head rested on Emily's shoulder as they swayed slowly, Emily's hands rested gently on the smaller woman's hips. The pale moonlight lit the two up softly, adding the perfect touch to an intimate moment. "JJ" Emily whispered softly, "Yes?" JJ didn't move her head, instead she wrapped her arms tighter around Emily. "Why don't you go ahead and move in with me?" Emily's thumbs rubbed small circles on the blonde's hips which she found soothing. JJ lifted her head and leaned her forehead against the older woman's, "I would love to." She smiled, revealing her perfect teeth. Emily looked into the stormy blue eyes that weren't far from hers, "I love you so much Jennifer. I know I have already told you a couple hundred times but I mean it. I want you for the long run. I want you until the day I die. I want a family with you. I want anything and everything with you." JJ's eyes closed as she listened to the softness and sweetness in Emily's voice. "Em you've got me. I want everything with you." She leaned in and kissed the brunette deeply before pulling back ever so slightly, her hand resting on Emily's cheek.
"I'm all in."
