Chapter 8: Monster

Rex’s POV

 

I grabbed Blade and Jim and dragged them down the stairs, not giving a single fuck about their bodies as they slammed down each step. I kicked open the cell room door and threw their unconscious bodies in, locking the gate before leaving the room. I smirked as I yet again wiped my hands on my shirt. “Time to get back to work~” I chuckled to myself before opening the door to Todd’s room.

Todd’s POV

 

As Rex left the room I kept screaming, I’ve never felt so much pain before. I looked at my leg which was bleeding thick crimson blood, maybe my wound was already infected because of his knife. I bit my lip to try and stop the pain but it just made it worse. “F-Fuck… I’m really going to die here…” I whimpered to myself as I hit my head on the wall behind me. I closed my eyes and let the tears roll down my cheeks. I thought about everyone, Blade, Jim… Mum and Dad… I never got to say goodbye to them. I never admitted that I had quite a crush on Blade, I never admitted that I cried every night thinking about my parents… I regretted everything I ever did and cried to myself, feeling more pain in my chest than my bleeding leg. I felt my body get weaker as I sobbed quietly for what seemed like hours till Rex came back.

“You still awake Toddy? I’m surprised! Looks like that stuff I put in you is taking its time to work…” He chuckled as he lifted my chin up and looked into my eyes. “What beautiful blue eyes you have Todd… Mind if I take one…?” He smirked and grabbed his knife from the table, twirling the blade around his finger. “Hmm… Left or right?” He grinned as he looked it my eyes again. I shook my head and closed my eyes, fear took over and a tugged on the cuffs again.

“Don’t please… My eyes… PLEASE DON’T!” I whimpered, my voice cracking slightly as the tears fell down my cheek quicker. Rex laughed and gently traced the knife across my face before reaching my right eye.

“Ah… Your eyes are just like your mothers if I remember correctly…” He chuckled as he moved his knife around my right eye. N-no… How did he know that? Why would he know that- “Too bad, the last thing you’ll ever see with this eye is me and not your big brother or your little friend Blade~ Hm… That gives me an idea for what I should do when I take it out.” He smirked before pushing the knife in the lid a bit. I tensed up and tried to move back but the wall was already behind me.

“N…no please…” I whimpered more quietly than before. Rex grinned,

“I’m the one who makes the choices Todd…~” He said humming a creepy melody as he moved the blade up to the middle of my right eye. “Open up Cog~” he said, slowly moving the blade inches closer. Automatically, my eyes slowly fluttered open, cold tears and sweat trickling off my cheeks.

“Wait-“I whimpered before my right eye went completely black as he stabbed the knife in.

“Whoops~ my hand slipped…” He chuckled and turned the blade before pulling it out. I felt something dangling from my right eye, yet I could see nothing, distracted by the pain taking over the socket and the screams I released from my mouth. “Whoops I forgot about this little nerve, looks like I’m going to have to cut it before I can have this lovely, tasty eye…” Rex rubbed the knife against the stringy dangling thing from my eye until it snapped off. “What a beautiful little blue~ Aren’t you Cog?” He chuckled and looked at his prize as he stood up, leaving Todd to cry and scream in pain. “You know what, I’ll play with you later Todd~ I’ve got some customers to feed…” I opened my one eye and glared and watched Rex leave the room, my whole body shivering in fear. H-He just took my eye out…He took MY EYE! The screams got louder and louder as I slowly started to process what just happened, I was going to look like a monster. I was going to die looking like a monster and nobody was going to help me…Why…did…this….happen… to…me? It’s always me…
