Chapter 3

I turned my head and looked out the car window to see a huge brick highschool. It looked like a classic highschool that are in the movies. There were tons of teenagers outside hanging out with there friends, working, and walking around. I was sick to my stomach. I didn't want to go out of this car.
"Okay Alisa this is your stop." My grandma said to me. I didn't move.
"Come on Alisa it you don't move I'll be late to school!" Finn whined.
"Alisa. It's going to be okay. You got this."
"Okay. I got this. Bye grandma, bye Finn, love you." I told them.
"Have fun!" My brother yelled while I was opening the car door.

I stepped out of the car stepped on the sidewalk. I was really here. I was so scared. Everyone here already had the clicks and probably didn't want to be friends with me.

I looked around. There were so many people. So many people. So many. Calm down Alisa. I told myself in my head. Don't panic. Nobody judging you. But they are! Calm down! "Okay. Okay. You got this. You can do this. So I walked into the building trying my best to hid the panic I had inside and found my locker.

Okay. We need to find my first class. I said in my head. So I grabbed my schedule from my backpack and looked. It said Spanish. Okay so is where is the Spanish classroom. I told myself. Oh god where is it! I was starting to panic when suddenly short, cubby, read haired girl came up to me.
"Hi! I've never seen you before! Are you new?" She said in a perky voice.
Oh my god she talking to me. What if she's judging me? Alisa calm down she's not judging you. Just respond.
"Yeah." I said.
"Well hi! I'm Janice and as head of the welcoming committee it is my job to make anyone new feel at home! So what's your name? Do you have any questions?" Janice ask.
You can do this. Just answer. You got this. I thought.
"Um I'm Alisa. But do you know where the Spanish 2 classroom is?" I asked.
"I actually do! Just go down the hall and turn right to the classroom next to the water fountain!" Janice said happily.
"Thank you." I replied.
"No problem! Would you like to sit with my friends and I at lunch! We are always open to having new people sit with us!" She asked.
Oh my gosh someone wants to sit with me! Say yes, say yes!
"Um sure" I said nervously.
"Terrific! See you later!" She said then walked away.
