I walked down the hall and over to my Spanish class. I walked in to a busy classroom and immediately felt anxious. We are not going to do this again. Just calm down and breath. I thought. So I walked over and found and empty seat near the back.

"Hola Chico's! My name is Señora Martìnez and I will be your Spanish teacher for this year. Now everyone take out your textbooks and turn to page 115." Said the teacher.
Ugh this class is going to be boring. I thought.

I was starting to zone out when I noticed someone. There was a really cute guy right behind me. He had long black wavy hair and  brown eyes. He was about 6 foot and was very attractive. Oh my gosh who is that. I thought. I looked over at him for a second and he was staring right at me. I usually think people are staring at me, but he actually was. I moved my head quickly away and looked at the board. He's probably just looking at you because he saw you looking at him. It's nothing. I said to myself. I couldn't help myself. I took another small glimpse and he was still staring at me. What is up with this guy?

"Señor Chen. Are you paying attention?" The teacher said to the boy.
"Huh?" He said not realizing she was talking to him. "Oh yes sorry." His face was pink.
He glimpsed over at me again and we made eye contact again. Why does this keep happening?
"Class is over everyone. See you tarea." The Señora Martìnez said.

I started to walk out of the class when I saw the boy again. We made eye contact again and I thought he would maybe talk to me. But he just looked at me and then left the classroom. My heart sank. Whatever. I don't know I thought this boy would talk to me. No boys ever like me. I thought to myself. Then I walked out of the room and headed to my next class.

After hours of different classes it was finally lunch. Even though the girl who offered to eat lunch with me was kind of annoying, I was happy not to be alone. I grabbed my food and brought my tray over to her table with her friends. There were 2 of them.
"Hi! Everybody this is Alisa!" Janice said with a perky voice.
"Hi I'm Stacy." Said a pretty blonde girl.
"I'm Clare." A pretty mixed girl said.
My heart was raising. You got this. Respond, respond. "Nice to meet you." I said with a nervous, shaky voice.
"Sit down next to me." Clare said hitting the spot next to her. So I set my tray down and sat next to her.
"Where are you from?" Clare asked. She seemed chill and nice.
"I'm from San Francisco." I said trying to be normal and calm down.
"Wow that's so cool!" Janice said.
"Are we in any of the same classes?" Clare said pulling out her schedule. I pulled mine out too.
"Oh we're both in algebra 2!" She said.
"Yeah!" I said less nervous, starting to calm down a little.
"Maybe we can walk to math together after lunch." Clare suggested. I was so happy. She seemed really nice and I was finally making friends.
"Sure." I said happily.
