Like father like daughter

I sit down next to Bailey and offer a smile to everyone already sitting there. I recognize Elena and the hot boy, but I'm not sure who the other two people are.

"Matt, Tyler, this is Erica Mikealson." They goth glare at me and this time I roll my eyes.

"I'm not doing to explain myself anymore. Elijah Mikealsons my dad, I've never met him, he doesn't even know that I exist. I haven't met anyone else in my family." Both of the boys stare at me shocked and I sigh.

"You're not a vampire." Matt says. I nod and before I can respond, Tyler breaks in.

"You're uncle turned me into a hybrid." I stare at him, not letting my emotions break through. My uncles a killer?! What if my dads just like him?!

"I would apologize for my family's behavior, since they've obviously made mad for this town, but it's not my place. You guys are the first people I've met that know anything about them, and so far I haven't gotten good stories. Are they really that bad?" Bailey looks at me with a sad smile and I give a light chuckle. Great. I come from a family of monsters. Perfect.

"You're dad is the nicest of them. He's saved our lives a couple times. Your uncle Klaus, he's not the nicest. He killed a lot of our family members. Your Aunt Rebekah is kind of stuck up. She's kind of rude. I haven't met your Uncle Kol yet." Elena tells me and I nod. I put my head in my hands and sigh. This is going to be a long day.

The final bell of the day rings and I let out a loud sigh. Finally I can go home. My foster parents are really sweet and amazing. They are the nicest have had since I've been in America this time around.

I actually live next to Elena and her little brother. I guess she didn't realize until she saw me walking today.

I was almost home when she pulled over and called out my name. I met her brother then, and they invited me to some group hangout they were having. I told her I'd ask my fosters, and if they said yes, I would be at their house at 5.

They said yes, so here I sit, waiting for Elena or Jeremy to open the door. Their parents died a year ago, so they live with their Aunt now. She's really sweet. She brought me a basket of candies and junk food when she found out I was moving in with my fosters.

The door opens and I see Jenna. She smiles at me and I do the same.

"Hey, Erica! Elena and Jeremy are actually about to leave, so they can't hang out right now. Sorry, hun." I laugh and see Elena walk down the stairs.

"I'm actually going with them. Elena said we're going to her boyfriends house for some kind of first day party or something." She smiles and nods.

"Okay! Well you kids have fun then." I smile and nod.

This will be fun.
