I walk out of the bathroom and see Damon and Alaric whispering to one another. All the teenagers have left, except for Elena and Bailey, so it's just the Salvatore's, Mr. Saltzman, and me left. Elena said she'd give me a ride home, and Bailey didn't want to leave me in case any of them tried to kill me. She didn't say it like that, but we both know that's what she truly meant.

"I don't trust her, Damon. She's related to them, their blood is running in her veins. What if she's lying to all of us? I don't trust her." I roll my eyes and let out a quiet sigh. Damon's eyes flicker to me and I look away from him.

"What if she's telling the truth? I mean, they're gone right now. Why would they send one of them now? I think she's telling the truth, Ric. Trust me on this." I look back at Damon and see him avoiding eye contact with me.

Oh I just want to find my dad and get out of here. I know things will be great when I finally manage to find him. We'll all be happy. He'll love me, and I'll love him. It will be perfect.

"Erica, you ready?" I look to my left and quickly wipe the tear that formed in my eye. I nod when I see that it's Bailey that's asking me. She pulls me into a hug and I flinch at the contact. I catch a movement in the corner of my eye, so I look over to see Damon staring at me with a confused look.

Bailey then pulls away and we all say our goodbyes to one another. Elena, Bailey, and I all load up in Elenas car and then head to the Bennet house to drop Bailey off.

After an hour drive, we finally pull into our neighborhood. I notice flashing blue lights, but I think nothing of it... until we pull up to the house. I see police tape stretching around all the corners of my foster house and jump out of the car before Elena even puts it in park. I run up to one of the officers and he grabs my shoulders to keep me back.

"What happened? What happened?" I yell out. I faintly hear my name being called, but I ignore it all. I see them wheel out a stretcher with a body on it and I break free from the mans grasp.

I run over to the stretcher and see Jenny. There's a pool of blood coming from a deep wound on her stomach, and a large gash is on her forehead. I notice her hand reaching out to me, so I grab it and walk with her as they wheel her to an ambulance.

"Where is he?! Where is he?!" I look around for Larry, but all I see is a black bag big enough for a body on the ground. I tell her, but she shakes her head. "Where is he?"

"Ma'am, are you riding to the hospital?" One of the EMT's ask. I nod and step back so they can load her. I then jump in and sit down to hold her hand again.
