It was a whirlwind of hugs and new faces that greeted me the second I stepped foot into the Styles house. There seemed to be a never-ending line of people as they all greeted me with smiles and kind words.
Somewhere along the way, Harry's hand had slipped from mine and I had lost sight of him. Now the only thing I could see was bright smiles and unfamiliar faces.
It was easy to see where Harry got all his looks and personality from. There were small traces of him in every relative of his that I met, from his eyes to his smile. Each and every one of them all talked about how much Harry talked about me and a silly little grin had etched itself onto my lips.
I was sure I had met just about everyone. His dad, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. The whole family was here and I was the newcomer. Even when all of the attention was supposed to be on Gemma and her special day, everyone couldn't help but get excited about the new woman in Harry's life.
Once everyone had greeted me and moved on from the new toy, I found myself in the garden, marveling in its glorious beauty.
"Oh, wow," I breathe out, letting my wandering feet travel amongst the beautiful flowers and delicate grass.
"Harry told me you were drawn to flowers," The sweetest voice says behind me, causing me to jump slightly and spin around on my heel, "Nice to meet you, Aurora."
I instantly knew that it was Harry's mom simply by her kind smile and caring eyes, knowing exactly where Harry got every single little thing about him from, "And you must be Mrs. Styles," I smile brightly at her, completely nervous at the thought of being in the presence of such an important woman in Harry's life.
"Oh, just call me Anne, darling," she smiles before making her way towards me, "I would ask you to tell me about yourself, but I'm afraid Harry's already beaten you to that."
I laugh softly, shaking my head slightly at Harry's eagerness and excitement, "Of course he did."
"He's crazy about you, you know," Anne mumbles as we walk through her garden, admiring all of the beautiful flowers she had planted. Blush spreads across my cheeks at her words while a lovesick grin dances across my lips, "When he was younger, I used to bring him out here and help me plant the flowers. I'd teach him what every flower was and it's meaning. He loved every second of it...or so I think he did."
"You taught him their meaning?" I ask, furrowing my eyebrows a bit, recalling the white camellia flower.
Anne nods her head, giving me an odd look once she sees my facial expression, "Did he mention it or something?"
"Or something..." I trail off with a smile, watching her as she shakes her head playfully and lets out a charming laugh, "You have an amazing son, Anne. I don't think I've ever been more in love with someone before."
What I said was true and I meant it with my entire heart. There has never been in anyone in my entire life that I've loved more than Harry, well...other than my grandmother of course. There was just something about him that had me hanging on to every little word he said or every small movement he made. He was like a magnet that drew me in closer with each passing second until I couldn't stand it anymore and I was right there clinging to his side.
