When her lips meet mine, I feel the butterflies going crazy in my stomach. When she kisses me back, I feel my heart skipping a couple of beats. Her lips against mine feel like nirvana. I reach another plain of existence and I refuse to ever go back. This shouldn't be allowed. How can someone make me feel like this with just one kiss?

Her hand finds my neck and she pulls me closer while tangling her fingers through my hair. I turn my body so I could properly face her, but I can't find a good position. She starts laughing in the middle of the kiss and pulls away.

"What are you doing?"

"This position is too weird." I laugh.

"Come here, then." She pulls me by my waist and I'm almost straddling her. "That's better," she whispers and kisses me.

The new position allows me to get even closer to her and I take advantage of that. I pull her in to deepen the kiss and what once was sweet, now starts to grow hungrier. She pulls me closer so I'm fully on her lap and her entire body is against mine.

I slow down and pull back just enough to break the kiss. My eyes still closed and a stupid smile plastered on my face. Her heavy breath touches my face and I move my hands to touch her cheek. I feel her smile and mine widens.

I open my eyes and find hers already looking at me. "Hey."

She giggles. "Hey." She pulls away to look at me properly. "So... you like me?"

"Did I not make it clear?" I laugh.

"I don't know... I think I might need more proof." She playfully smiles and kisses me softly. I laugh, but kiss her back. "Ok, now I get it."

"Good."

We sit in silence for a while, just looking at each other, smiles stuck on our faces.

"I have a question," I say.

"Shoot."

"I really want to know if you did something with your hair. It looks really good." This time I fully run my fingers through it and take a better look.

She laughs loudly and I look back at her eyes. "No, there's nothing different."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, Allie, I'm sure I didn't do anything with my hair."

"Well, it looks good." I smile and let the soft strands fall.

"Thank you." She pecks my lips. "Do you want to grab something to eat? I haven't eaten today."

"Jamie!" My eyes widen and I lightly slap her arm. "It's almost 7pm and you haven't had anything to eat?"

"Not really."

"C'mon." I get off her bed and offer my hand. "We're going to Elena's."

While she gets ready, I run to my room to grab my bag. That's when I finally have a second to think.

We kissed.

A smile spreads on my face and it stays there until I meet her by the elevators.

"Why did Jess text me asking if she could go to our room?" Jamie asks when I get closer.

"I kind of texted her so I could find you and told her to give us some time." I smile awkwardly.

"So you kicked my roommate from her own room so you could jump me?"

"I did not jump you!" I yell. "If you don't remember correctly, you kissed me too."

"I guess I did, huh?" We both laugh.

"Did you tell her we're going to Elena's?"

"Yeah, she's waiting for us with Daisy and Scott downstairs." The elevator opens its doors and we get in.

"So they're coming with us." I frown a little.

"What? You wanted me all to yourself?" She smirks.

"And Scott is here too?" I purposely avoid her question.

"Yes, he was hanging out with Daisy before Jess met them."

The doors open to the ground floor and I see them waiting for us.

"Hey, guys," I say. "Jess, didn't you just eat?"

"It was just some fruit. I'm still hungry." She giggles.

"Let's go then." Daisy walks to the door and we follow her.

I'm a little confused. Jamie and I talked and kissed, but what is going on? Should we hold hands or something? What are we?

"Did you and Jamie work things out?" Jess holds me and we start walking slowly arm in arm.

"You could say that. I mean, we're good." By now we're a few yards behind the others.

"What does that mean?"

"It means we talked and we're ok."

"But, like, that was all?"

"What do you mean?" I frown.

"Did you just... talk?"

I stop walking and turn to face her. "I don't get it."

"C'mon, Allie. I'm not stupid!" She looks around to see if they were still in hearing distance. "I know you like each other." My eyes go so wide they almost fall out of their sockets. "It's pretty obvious. Anyway. Did you kiss? Are you together?"

I can't say a word. How the hell did she know?

"So...?"

"I- You- How?"

"Again, I'm not blind."

I sigh and look at her. She looks like a child on Christmas Morning, her green eyes are sparkling with excitement and curiosity while unwrapping her gift.

"We talked."

"And..."

"We kissed," I whisper through a smile.

"I knew it!" She screams and I cover her mouth with my hand.

"Shhh! Let's go." I pull her and we walk fast to catch up with the others. "And don't say a word about it to anyone, not even Jamie. We haven't talked about it yet."

"My lips are sealed."

We speed walk and notice they had already arrived at Elena's while we were talking. We go inside and make our way to the table. Jess rushes to take the seat left on the same side as Daisy and Scott so I would have to sit next to Jamie. I roll my eyes at her and sit down.

"Did you guys already order?" I ask.

"Yep." Daisy answers. "Where were you guys?"

Shit.

"Allie forgot her wallet," Jess says calmly and I'm surprised by how chill she is. "We went back to get it and since you guys were ahead, we just let you keep going and then catch up."

"Yep," I add and just grab my water glass to take a huge sip so I don't have to say anything else.

"So," Scott starts "that geeky event is next weekend, are you guys coming?"

"I'm already there," Daisy answers.

"I'll go too," Jess says.

"What about you two?" Scott turns to Jamie and I.

"I don't know..." I look at her. "What do you think? I mean, I don't want to be the only one not going."

"Let's go then." She smiles.

"Ok!" Scott says. "I'll send you the details. And remember that you can wear costumes if you'd like."

"Mine is already done." Daisy giggles.

"Of course it is." I laugh.

No too long after, Elena is bringing our food and we just keep talking for a while.
