A/N: I'm so sorry for the late update! But don't worry, I have amazing news! Remember how I said I already sent Saving Rose to the publisher? Well, the editing is almost done now! I should be getting the draft next week or so. After that, covers and the cost of the book. I can't wait! Publishing a book is extremely fun. :)
Also, I'm going to tell you a bit about today's chapter. It's mainly about Eleanor and Felix. It's extremely fluffy. If you can't or plainly just don't like fluff, you have all of my permission to not read on. I'm perfectly fine with that.
THE PUBLISHED VERSION OF SAVING ROSE IS FREE OF MISTAKES AND HAS EXTRA PLOTS AN THE EPILOGUE. BUY TO READ THE ADJUSTMENTS.
Thank you for reading and supporting me! I'll stop blabbing now so that you can actually read the book. :D

|E X T R A - C H A P T E R 3| Those Who Dare to Dream
It's weird to think that just a month ago Samuel had been on the very top of my 'Hate List'. Now, things have changed for the better.
"Bam! Bam!" Felix yelled as he slammed his toy soldier on a picture of a fire breathing green dragon. The paper ripped into two.
Felix sat back with a triumphant grin and raised his soldier into the air. "Yeah! Take that, you big, bad, dragon!"
He raced over to me and threw his arms around my left leg. I leaned down and ruffled his hair.
Felix nuzzled my leg and looked up with a gigantic smile. "Did I save you, Princess?"
I grinned. "I see no dragons anymore so, yup."
Felix let go of my leg to turn back around to face the ripped paper of a picture of the dragon.
"You hear that?" he asked it. "I won and saved the Princess!"
I'm not sure if Samuel was like that as well, but if he was, I missed 16 years of pure amazingness.
Felix trotted over to his box of toys and pulled out his foam sword. He raised it above his head and repeated in a louder voice,"You hear that? I won and saved the Princess!"
He put on his bravest face and added one last sentence to his victory speech,"I am a true knight!"
For a moment, Felix didn't move from his position. I was starting to think that something was wrong when he turned to look at me with a confused face and asked in a uncertain voice,"I am a knight, right?"
I walked over and kneeled next to him. I pulled him into a hug and assured him,"Yes, of course. You'll always be a knight in shining armor to me."
Felix wiggled out of my arms and huffed. "I am a knight! Knights don't hug. We fight evil dragons and giants!"
I faked surprise and said aghast,"Oh my! I'm so sorry, Sir Felix. But of course you are a knight! A true one I may say."
Felix gave me a quizzing look. "What does 'Sir Felix' mean?"
"It's what we call true knights," I tell him. "Knights that fight and protect the kingdom."
Felix's eyes lit up and he said happily,"I like that name! I am now Sir Felix, protector of Princess Eleanor!"
For the rest of the night, Felix and I played pretend save-the-princess-from-an-evil-dragon-that-kidnapped-her.
That's another change. I never thought that I'ld find myself playing with little kids again after I came to age and toys seemed insignificant to me.
But now, while pretending to be a captive of a fire breathing dragon and was in desperate need of saving from a brave knight, I overlooked my pride from before I met Samuel.
Those days have already been placed behind me. They seemed far away now, just a tiny dot in the large sky.
Felix mad an anger gnawing sound as the 'dragon' prepared to breath fire on the 'knight'. Flashbacks flashed across my mind and I smiled.
Yup, I have definitely changed.
I totally lost track of time (I even forgot to give Felix's bedtime snack!). The front door opened and Samuel walked in. I didn't notice him as Felix and I continued our game.
Samuel smiled to himself and slowly made his way into the living room, careful not to make any sounds.
When he was within reach, he squatted down and wrapped his arms around me. I gave a surprised yelp and stopped in the middle of calling for help to the knight.
I turned around and turned. "Hey."
"Hey," Samuel greeted back and sat back to smile at me properly. "Having fun?"
I felt my face heat up, but I smiled back. My old self would have said something snappy back, but not this version of me. I'm different now.
"Yup," I told him. "Felix and I are having a great time together."
"I'm Sir Felix now!" Felix corrected me. "That means I'm a true knight!"
Samuel laughed and gave his brother a pat on the head. "I think you already are a true knight."
Felix grinned and announced,"When I grow up, I'm going to continue to be a knight, just like big brother. And I'm going to be the best and strongest!"
Samuel put his arm around my shoulders and I leaned into his touch. He grinned and agreed,"Yup, definitely the strongest."
He turned to me and softly put his lips to my forehead. "And thank you for babysitting him. Sorry that my job kept me a bit late today."
I blushed. "That's alright. So many things have changed. You probably still need to get used to it."
"Yeah, I know," Samuel replied. "But as long as you are here with me, I feel like very thing will be alright."
I smiled. "Yeah, I think so too."
