Chapter five: Beginnings

(Carley's POV)

I walked out of my room to get some fresh air, as I looked around I noticed that nobody was outside. Except Katjaa.

I proceeded to walk over to her and ask; "What are you doing out here, Katjaa? Don't you think it's a bit cold for this?"

"No, I'm okay. Thanks for checking up with me though. I appreciate it." Said Katjaa.

"No problem." I said.

"I wanted to talk about you and Lee." Katjaa said calmly.

I stayed silent for a moment.

"Yeah, what about us?" I asked.

"I don't mean to be rude, but are you two together?" Asks Katjaa.

"No, we aren't. We're good friends." I said calmly.

My heart started to pick up its pace.

"I can see the looks you two give each other. It's okay, Carley. I think you two should see each other sometimes. You two are a match made in heaven, or hell in this case." Katjaa said jokingly.

I tried hard not to laugh.

"I do have feelings for him. I wish I could tell him somehow." I said.

"Just tell him already. Let him know how you feel." Katjaa said.

"Okay, I will. Next time I see him-"

"Hey, we're back!" Yelled Kenny.
