*Tony's Apartment*

"You're okay junior?" Tony's dad is staying with him for the Christmas and he senses that Tony's mind isn't even there with him. "Yeah? Uh..sure. Sorry dad, I didn't hear what you were saying."
"That's okay. I was asking about that girl you've been told me. The Ex NCIS agent."
"She's an agent. Again." Tony smiles, "She wanted back to NCIS. Said that NSA is too much hush hush. She likes to be here."
"Well how do you take it? I mean you're gonna see her everyday. You like her."
"I know... Especially because it feels like she left me in limbo...you know. I don't know where are we right now. Not that I don't trust her, it's just...there's this guy...Milt. He's perfect. And I don't know...I guess he's the father of her daughter. They're reaaaaly close. They've known each other since she was a kid. And I can tell they have history together."
"But you said she's probably adopted. I don't get it."
"I know... I just don't buy it. I mean her face looks a lot like her mother. And I'm sure Gibbs knows something about it. He just won't tell me."
"How so?"
"Ah...where do I start... Allison is like a daughter to Gibbs. You know his daughter died many years ago so Al is basically the daughter that he always wanted. Also...Her own father is a spy...and he's horrible."
"Poor girl."
"Yeah. He's a very...very bad person. He let his men torture his own daughter. I mean he didn't know she's his daughter at that time. But still.....anyway the point is, Gibbs is keeping her secrets. What I don't understand is...why keeping it a secret? I mean it's not a big deal if Kayla is her daughter with Milt."
"Or maybe she's not Milt's child after all."
"You mean adopted?"
"Maybe. Or maybe you know who's the father, that's why she wants to keep it a secret."

*Allison's Apartment*

"Honey, are you sure you want to go today? It's only been a week."
"Doctor said I'm fine."
"Actually he said you are physically healed. Not quite fine."
"Same same. Look after Kayla for me mom?" Beth sighed, knowing how stubborn her daughter is. "Okay. If you say so. Don't worry I'll take care of Kayla."

She grab her backpack and checking for her meds tube. "You're looking for this?" Beth hands her the painkiller. "Yes. Thank you mom." She tries to smile, "See you later mom." She then goes to kiss Kayla's forehead, "I'll be back to sing you lullaby, I promise." Beth is watching her as she close the door. She's worried about Allison. Her daughter hasn't been well these days and it seems like she won't open up about what happened. To make it worse, she won't even see any therapist as well.

She takes the phone and dial Gibbs' numbers. They've been close for the last year, especially because Gibbs is always one phone call away when she needs help with Kayla.

"Yes Beth?"
"It's about Allison. She's back to work today."
"I know. She told me about it."
"She's still....bottling up Jethro. I'm so afraid. I saw her like this before. When she was a teenager. Keeping things like that won't ended up well for her."
"Okay. Let me see what I can do. I'll try to talk to her."
"Thank you."

*Tony's apartment*

Tony Chuckled, he can't think of anyone who could be Kayla's dad. "What are you talking about? McGee? Palmer? Ducky? No way. My best guess, it could be Milt or maybe Spencer. But if that's Spencer, she wouldn't make it secret. So my bet is on Milt. I told you these two are....I don't know...something about them. Secretive, yet intriguing."
"Have you ever think that it might be you?"
"What? No. Are you kidding me. That's not possible."
"Why? You two got a thing before she left for Mexico." Tony is freezing for seconds before let out a nervous laugh, "Haha..no. It can't be me. She would have told me if that's the case."
"If she have a doubt in you? I mean you're not exactly like a commitment."
"No. Still impossible." There's a glimpse of wonders in his mind. Deep down it could be him but he see no reason for Al not to tell him nonetheless.
"Anyway, I needed to go now. Gibbs won't forgive me for being late again this time. See you later dad."
