"Cheer up arsehole ;)" Harley, my 14 year old brother, text me with probably one of his cheeky grins splashed across his face.

I should really explain to you what I should cheer up about… Well I got expelled from my school for causing a teacher to fall down the stairs. It's not like it was my fucking fault, she shouldn't have been wearing stupidly high shoes but as per usual, I was stood behind her and apparently 'pushed her'. Yeah, wasn't a great way to start sixth form but it wasn't like the school was any good. Anyway, my dearest parents thought it would be a good idea to start again somewhere across the country from my hometown, from my family and most importantly from my friends. 'Friends' Ha! More like friend. I got bullied incredibly because I was different. I was interested in different music. I dressed differently. And I looked differently… What happened to 'being unique' and all that shit… I guess that went out the window along with most teenagers having good manners and being respectful.

You know I'm right in that aspect.

"Wish I could dickhead." I returned to my original position which consisted of headphones in and head resting against the car window. I watched the clouds while daydreaming about what the near future will be like for me. We were currently travelling to Surrey, which happens to be a long way from my home back in Newcastle, sadly. Apparently, the house was massive and very modern; with 6 bedrooms which included on-suites in each, 2 studies, a kitchen, a lounge, games room, living room, 3 bathrooms, 3 toilet room thingys, a den (which is mine), 2 balconies which were attached to my room and my parents room and an attic. Ooh mustn't forget the outdoor pool, and of course the heated indoor pool with sauna and gym included. Yeah, I may sound ungrateful but I’m going to get labeled a 'snob' and a 'rich girl' even though I don't look like one. Oh and did I forget, the house is a four-floored building.

"Lucie, stop mopping around and be happy." Mum signed heavily. It's alright for her to be happy with moving considering she'll never be at home and either will my dad. My parents have busy jobs which cause them to travel all over the place, so really, they bought the house for me - which is one thing I’m most definitely not complaining about. In travelling around the world, they didn't want to leave me in charge of my brother, may I add that it isn't fair due to me being 17 and (nearly) basically an adult. So, he got stuck with my aunt and uncle in Scotland. Lucky sod.

"Fine. Just tell me I will have neighbours living near me. So I’m not completely alone." I asked innocently.

"Yes you do, and they're lovely. You'll be attending sixth form with their son so he might show you around if you're nice. Their daughter has already left school so you won’t see her much unless you and mystery man become close. But that's the closest family that lives near us. They live around 5 minutes down the road from 'Eagle Eye'" (Name of our new house… Hmm fancy huh). My eyes instantly widened and wanted to know who this boy was. My mum gave a hint of a smirk while quickly glancing at my dad who was happily smiling to himself.

Looks like I'm out the loop then.
