I'm walking down the beach with my best Friend Mallorie, her trying to convince me to take this new job, and me doing my best to ignore her. "Come on Becca! You are literally like the best detective I know, and the BAU wants you! As in FBI BAU!" Mallorie yells.

"Well maybe I just don't want to go" I say shrugging it off, trying my best to make her change the subject.

"Well why not?" Mallorie asks, stopping and crossing her arms, waiting for me to answer. I sigh, "I'm not good with change you know that. My anxiety gets all bad and I start to freak out an-"

"Rebecca Anne Singfield! You have gotten better! I know that, you know that, everyone knows that! There is no reason for you to panic they will love you there, I promise" Mallorie says putting her hands on my shoulders, "Besides, we'll still be best friends."

"You really think so?"

"I am positive. Now you better call that guy back before he gives your job to somebody else," I smile, "Thanks Mal." She smiles back and pulls me into a hug, "No problem, you just better not forget me." I laugh, "I won't."

I'm pacing back and forward in my room while on the phone with my soon to be new boss, SSA Aaron Hotchner, while Mallorie sits on my bed flipping through a magazine, "Yes sir...Sounds great....Ok see you tomorrow..Bye" I quickly hang up the phone, "I cant believe I just did that!" I say flopping down next to Mallorie. "Well you did it! And now its time for you to pack!"

I groan as Mallorie pulls me off the bed and to my closet so I can pack.

When I'm done packing Mallorie and I say our goodbyes and she goes home. I lay down on my bed and sigh, 'I can't believe this is actually happening' I think to myself. I roll up my long sleeves and trace my finger up and down my left arm and sigh again, 'I hope you''re right Mallorie, or I'm going to get a whole lot worse.'

So this is my first Criminal Minds fan fiction, and pretty much my first one in general and I am super excited for this!!!

So basically the reason why I didn't do what most people do and are all like, 'this is my character, they are this age' and bla is I plan on introducing her and her characteristics during the story!
