*EDITED*~2 weeks later~
Becca's POV:I walk into the office and make my way to my desk and sit down. "Hey" I say to Emily with a smile.
"Didn't Hotch say you weren't allowed to come into work until you're fully healed?" She asks me.
"No. He said I couldn't go on any cases with you guys, and last time I checked there was no cases."
Emily laughs, "you're brave Singfeild."
I smile, "thank you." I say opening a folder and start to finish paper work. "You should thank me, less paper work for you."
"That's true."
A laugh and get up from my desk and head to the break room and open the fridge.
"There is literally no food in here." I mumble to myself looking into the empty fridge.
"Yeah everyone is to lazy to bring some." I jump at the sound of a voice, hitting my head on the fridge.
"Ow." I mumble rubbing my head closing the door.
"Sorry and you ok?" Spencer asks rushing over to me. "Yeah I'm fine." I say taking my hand off my hand.
"Hey I thought you weren't suppose to be here?" Spencer says question like.
"Not suppose to go on cases." I say opening a cabinet pulling out a bag of chips.
"Oh..."
"Want one?" I ask Spencer holding up a bag. "Sure." He says and I hand him one and close the cabinet.
I jump up and sit on the counter and open the bag and start to eat them.
Spencer leans against the counter next to me, his arm gently brushing against my thigh sending chills down my thigh.
"So why'd you come in anyway then?" He asks.
"What else am I suppose to do on a Monday? Besides I felt bad for making all you guys do my paper work" I say.
'And I wanted to see you.'
Spencer laughs, "yeah you should, I had to do 20 of your folders last week."
"Oh you poor baby." I say, fake pouting.
"Shut up," he says playfully shoving me.
I push him back and he does the same, our pushing quickly turns into a mini cat fight.
He turns to face me as I continue to hit his arm. He grabs my hands to make me stop and leans in close to my face, making me nervous.
"I win." He mumbles and let's go and leaves the room.
I stay sitting on the counter for a couple of seconds before getting up and walking back to my desk.
~
I pack up my stuff in my bag at the end of the day, ready to go home.
I'm the last one in the office from the team because I had to catch up on work.
Even Hotch left before me.
I grabbed my bag and head to the elevator and catch it on the way down and go to the parking lot.
I walk to my car and open the trunk putting my stuff in it.
"Come on you stupid thing." I turn and look at Spencer, who is trying to get his car to start.
"Need help?" I call out.
He looks and me and closes the hood and walks over to me. "Stupid engine is broken. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't."
"Yeah I don't know what to do about that." I say honestly. "I'm not the best with cars."
"Yeah neither am I." He says.
"Well I can give you a ride? If you want." I say. "And drive you here tomorrow."
He smiles, "you sure?"
I nod, "yep. Now go get your stuff."
I get into the car and wait for Spencer to get back to the car with his things.
He gets into the passenger seat and closes the door, "ready?" I ask.
He nods and I start to car and pull out of the parking lot.
"Ok where to?" I ask. "Left at the next light." Spencer says.
The car is quiet except for the radio and Spencer's directions.
In approximately 7 minutes and 43 seconds as Spencer said I pulled up in front of his apartment complex.
"It's a nice building." I say parking the car.
"Thanks. Wanna come in for a little?" He asks.
"Why not." I say shrugging opening my car door and getting out.
I follow him up the stairs to his door and wait for him to unlock it.
"Well here we are, home sweet home." He says opening the door and stepping inside.
I follow him inside and close the door behind me. "Wow." I mumble.
"I know it's a bit messy." He says awkwardly.
"No it's not, it's just you have so many books." I say walking over to a bookshelf on the far wall, "like actual books."
"What do you mean actual books?" He asks walking over to me.
"I don't know, kinds pictures you having stacks of textbooks everywhere." I say.
He lets out a laugh, "no actually those are all in boxes in my closet."
I laugh at his comment and start looking through the books.
Most being Shakespeare or Dickens, nothing I've really cared to read before.
"You really like Shakespeare huh?" I ask.
"Yeah, I do." He answers. "You ever read one of his plays?" He asks.
"Does Romeo and Juliet for high school english count?" I ask.
"Ok no." He answers turning toward the shelf and starts running his hand over the books looking for one.
"Here read this." He says handing me a book.
I take it and look at it. "Othello?" I ask looking at him.
"Yeah you would love it." He says grinning."
"What's it about?" I ask.
"Not telling you." He says.
"What-"
"You have to read it to find out." He says grinning.
I roll my eyes, "fine." I mumble. "Well better get going so I should start." I say holding it up.
I walk over to the door and Spencer opens it for me, "See you tomorrow Becca." He says smiling.
"Yeah, bye." I say and walk out, him closing the door behind me.
I lean against the door and look down at the book.
"Othello." I mumble and walk out of the building.
