Marlon has been avoiding me constantly. I know i said i didn't care about him not being my friend anymore but we've became good friends over the past few months.

"why haven't i seen you and cara apestada (stank face) together? huh mami"?

"who"? i look at her totally confused

"marlon y/n" she corrected herself.

Casey has been walking with me for awhile now back home and to school. She's crazy but she's always here for me.

"i don't know, he came to my house a few weeks ago and told me he didn't wanna be friends anymore and that i was a distraction or something" i shrugged.

"mami, i'll find his foul ass and shank him"! she snapped

"no casey" i said as she pulled my arm up to his door step.

She's literally gonna make a scene.

"casey STOP"! i whispered

"no mami, no ones gonna mess with my friend"! she banged on his front door

"casey no" i pulled on her arm, "let's go, NOW"! i pulled her again.

She didn't budge but knocked harder on the door constantly ringing the door bell again and again.

"casey come on girl" i stomped my foot.

Somebody finally opened the door and it was his big brother jackie.

"can i help you"? he looked at us angrily, obviously not happy about casey banging on their door.

"yep, where is that little sucker marlon"? he said with her arms crossed.

I hid my face in my hands, embarrassed at the fact that she just did this.

"uh uh y/n, you stay right here" she pulled my arm back.

Marlon then came to the door making me very uncomfortable.

"what's up"? he looked at us confused.

"you know what's up sucker! you dogged my friend then left her, and i don't like it! if i was y/n i'd shank your ass hijo de puta"! she yelled at him

Casey grabbed my hand yanking me off the porch and walking me down their path back to the side walk.

"you know what, that's not enough" she said picking up a brick about to throw it at their house, i took it out her hand in time though.

Her ass isn't getting us locked up! NOT today.

"get your ass over here casey" i yanked her over to my house.

"what's wrong"? she said in a strong accent.

"you do this all the time casey! stop doing this shit! if you would've thrown that brick they would have called the police on our ass"! i shouted at her.

Luckily my father wasn't home, he surely would have came out by now if she heard me.

"i don't care, no one messes with my nina"! she sassed.

"ok, casey! could not get us locked up please"!

"i'm sorry mami, forgive me please"? she playfully pouted.

Of course i couldn't resist, she's my sister. We've known each other for years.

"i forgive you" i hold my hands out to hug her.

She hugged me tightly, smiling.

"now let's go and find something cute for the school dance tomorrow" she pulled me up to my house door.

"oh no" i scoffed, "i'm not going to that monstrosity" i said laughing putting my key in the door.

"yes you are, come on" she pulled me inside my house shutting the door.
