13. something that i never knew

is it weird...
before love, i witnessed fall out?
is it weird...
i feel more than i show?

is it just the world
or a stage show,
where all our parts come to an end eventually?
we're born and raised,
to love, suffer and die?

what's the meaning hidden behind...
that old lady's fake smile?
a mindless play of a child?
the first flower blooming in the spring?

is there a cause worth to fight?
our world's somber,
actuality lies behind a mask
hell, we're those sickening beings
the history has never known.

all i write, all i mean, all i speak...
all of it are part of a shattered glass.
god gave me a power,
a power i don't use often,
extricating myself.

you say a simple "hi!"
and i believe you love me like i do,
a melody i hear behind your words,
a hypnotic energy,
kills me inside.

scared of this stage show,
i hide behind a bittersweet smile,
scared to say what's on my mind,
can't trust you,
hell, i can't trust myself,
scared i'll be the one to end.

is it something i never knew?
you keep secrets,
everybody's searching for somebody,
heaven, you find in somebody,
hell is within that "somebody"
lights out.
