New beginnings (Izuku Midoriya x Latina Reader)

hello! thank you for deciding to give my book a shot! As i said in the description this will be in the pov of a latina reader. Specifically Mexicana, the reason being that is what i am. I hope that doesn't offend anyone who isn't. But i'm just getting back into writing and the only thing i really know how to write is about myself so that is why it is this way. That being said there will be spanglish in this fan fiction. if that bothers you as a latinx person i'm very sorry but that's what i'm used to. My parents taught me how to understand spanish but they never really taught me how to speak it. i'm better at reading and writing in spanish instead of speaking it. I also mentioned that i just got out of a really unhealthy relationship, in which i had to basically change my whole personality for that person. One thing i used to love so much was reading and writing but i slowly stopped being as passionate for it because of the person i was with. They basically made fun and criticized a bunch of the stuff i loved and was passionate about. Writing and Anime being one of them. I just now am getting back into both and BNHA gave me so much inspiration to write this. Again it will be kinda choppy and cringey in the beginning but i'm hoping it will get much better later on. So please don't be harsh but i do accept constructive criticisms. if my grammar is off or anything be free to point it out and i'll change it to my best ability. Not to mention it's hard being bilingual. i forget words in spanish and english so some sentences may be phrased a bit weirdly. (also i will be putting translations for those who need it!) i'll go ahead and go into detail about the character and how a Latina is Aizawa's daughter.

Y/N's ORIGIN

Y/n's mother (her mother being a Latina/Mexicana) used to live in Japan for a mission that would take 3 months. On that mission she met Aizawa. The two got close and near the end of her mission, on a drunken night they slept together. After the mission was over y/m/n went back home (Texas) and found out she was pregnant. She immediately called Aizawa and told him that she was indeed having his child and that she was keeping it. Aizawa begged her to come move to Japan and live with him but she refused saying she had a life and family in Texas that she couldn't leave behind. While this disappointed Aizawa tremendously he still supported her and would often transfer money to her bank account to help take care of any medical and child expenses. Near her 2nd trimester Aizawa took a break from his job to go be there for her and for the birth of his baby girl. Both Adults knew that after y/n was born Aizawa could only stay a while longer before he had to go back to Japan. And while this hurt y/m/n, she understood that he also had a life he couldn't leave behind for her. So while she kept the child while Aizawa would visit often to be apart of his daughters life. Because y/n was surrounded by her mothers family she was more influenced but her mothers culture. Of course she still loved her fathers culture. But growing up in a hispanic household she was more connected with her latina side.

and that is y/n's origin and how aizawa has a hispanic daughter. Again I am basically basing this book on how i was raised so if it doesn't fit with how you were raised i'm sorry i'm just going off of what i know. Also i did say my parents only taught me how to understand spanish not speak it so if my spanish is a bit off please forgive me. i'm very in touch with my culture i promise i just can't speak spanish super super well 😅. It honestly sucks because sometimes i feel like i can't connect with my family members that only speak spanish and it really hurts. so please go easy on me! i really hope you enjoy my book! again CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM IS OK! Just please don't be mean or rude about it!!

the chapters are most likely going to start off pretty short since i'm getting back into writing but i'm hoping over time i can be as good as i once was and write a bunch more with longer chapters!

One last thing! This story will be switching povs often from like first person view to second person view and things like that i'll of course tell you when it switched but i'm sorry if it gets a little confusing 😅 Also my music genre is everywhere so you will be getting hispanic songs, emo songs, pop songs etc and neon moon (yes it is a country song but i only like it bc my cousin sings it so well!)

OH! I forgot to say that i will be using the head cannon that Sero is hispanic! I believe the head cannon says he's Mexican?? i'm not a hundreds percent sure but that's what i'm going with! You can correct me if i'm wrong but that is what i will using! of course if i'm wrong and he's of a different latin culture i'll change it!! :)
