Sorry I've been kind of inconsistent with updates but I'm basically making the plot along with the chapters. You see I have so many ideas for this story but they are mainly for chapters that will be farther down into the storyline. SO I'm just trying to fill in the gaps while writing. And like I said in the begging, this is the first story I will be writing in a long time. So I am rusty! Thank you for your patience with me! Also Eri will be about 2? I haven't really decided an age but I'm thinking 2 I'd good
~Aizawa opened the door to the dorms leading y/n into the building. In the common room sat Eri and a blonde boy, who was smiling brightly at the silver haired girl. "Mirio you can have the rest of the day off. I already have someone else ready to take care of Eri. The blonde boy named Mirio stood up and smiled at y/n's father "okay that sounds great Mr. Aizawa" Mirio stated and grabbed his bag before heading to the door "I'll see you tomorrow!" He called out before heading out the door. Aizawa walked over to Eri and picked her up, kissing her on the forehead "hey princess how are you?" He nuzzled her cheek. Eri giggled and put her hands on his cheeks while blubbering a jumble of words. Aizawa chuckled and turned to Y/n "Eri I want you to meet your sister Y/n"
Eri looked at y/n and tilted her head a little confused. Y/n smiled brightly while reaching out to the little girl "ay que linda! Que preciousa!" (Translation: oh how cute! How precious!) Eri cautiously reached out to Y/n. Y/n was very familiar with taking care of children. Hell she basically raised half of her cousins with how often they came over. The adults basically raised her to be a caretaker. Y/n took Eri into her arms and pressed her cheek against Eri's "my precious baby sister! I'm so happy to finally meet you!" Eri giggled and leaned into y/n immediately taking a liking to the older girl.
Aizawa smiled at the sight of his girls getting along. He then pulled his phone from his pocket looking at the time "I'm going to call your mother ok angel? After lunch I want you to stay here and take care of Eri. Get familiar with the dorms and bond with your little sister. Tomorrow will be your first official day in school" Y/n nodded and smiled down at Eri "okay that's fine with me" Aizawa walked to the front entrance and looked back at her "I'll come check on you after class okay?" Y/n nodded and watched her father leave.
After he shut the door y/n looked at Eri and giggled "what should we do now princesa?" Y/n began to make her way towards where she assumed her room was. After looking for a good 10 minutes she found her room and opened the door. She smiled, noticing the room looked exactly like how she had it in Texas. Three walls were painted pink while one wall was white. In the center of one wall laid her bed. Fairy lights hung above the bed giving the room a soft glow. Y/n's room was bigger than the other students.
This of course was her father's doing. Turning to the wall near her closet a giant rectangular mirror hung there. Beautiful flowers and leaves bordering the mirror along with more fairy lights. On the opposite side of the room sat her large vanity. All her makeup and other essentials already placed in the drawers. She also had several shelves holding crystals and books. Finally next to her bed was her desk so she could do her schoolwork in peace. Y/n smiled and saw a small box sitting on one of her nightstands. She walked over to her bed and laid Eri down on it before picking the box up.
Inside was a beautiful necklace. A gorgeous rose quartz pendant laid in the middle. Y/n gasped and grabbed the note that laid under the box. 'I hope you settle in nicely my dear. I miss you dearly and hope to hear from you soon. I hope wearing this necklace will make you miss me a little less baby. ~ love mama' (kinda basic necklace but I like it) Y/n smiled and placed the necklace on. She placed her hand on the pendant while repressing her tears. Oh how she missed her mother dearly but she needed this. She needed time away from Texas. A place that brought her dread when she thought about certain people.
Y/n turned to Eri and crawled onto the bed next to her. She pulled the girl into a tight hug and sighed. "I know you can't understand me but I just want to vent. I miss my mother. She truly is an amazing woman but I know being here is good for me. Plus I get to spend more time with dad and I finally get to meet and spend time with you." Y/n gave a sad smile to Eri who tilted her head at the girl next to her. "You know Eri I'm kinda jealous of you.... while I know papa loves me he wasn't really there when I grew up. And seeing him hold you so close makes me kinda angry at him for not being there for me" Y/n hung her head a shadow casting over her eyes "ha I probably sound so selfish and ridiculous." She could feel the tears welling up in her eyes.
"Papa will be able to be there for you in ways he was never able to be for me. And that makes me happy for you but I can't help but feel anguish and jealousy for that." Y/n sighed and sniffled pulling Eri into her chest. "God if I keep talking like this people will think I have daddy issues." Y/n laughed as tears started to flow down her cheeks. Eri put her hands on the older girls cheeks. Concern filled the younger girls eyes. Y/n smiled sadly at the girl and shook her head "I'm sorry Eri. I'm probably just tired. Is it okay if we take a nap?" Eri nodded at the girl as if she understood her.
Y/n pulled the blankets over them and held the young girl close "I promise to be there for you no matter what Eri. I will be the best older sister possible" Y/n kissed Eri's forehead and pulled the small girl into a right embrace before slowly drifting off to sleep.
