Chapter 9

Mina patted the shorter girls head after her sobs quieted down. Y/n took a deep breath and slowly exhaled, before looking up at Mina with a warm smile. "Thank you Mina I really needed this" Mina shook her head and hugged y/n tightly "what are friends for?" Y/n gigged and slowly pulled away. She walked over to her dresser and pulled out a pair of shorts.. She slipped them on and walked over to her walk in closet, pulling out a black tank top. "I thought you didn't like having your scars out" y/n pulled the tank top on and looked at her wrists and thighs "I feel safe with you. I also don't want my past to define me anymore. Plus like you said they symbolize my survival." She turned to the pinkette with a bright smile.

Mina smiled back "whenever you're ready I would like to learn more about them" the h/c girl nodded "I'll tell you eventually. But for now we have a sleepover to pay attention to. You should go change into comfy clothes. After crying for so long I don't feel like leaving my room so I'll have my dad bring some pizza. That okay?" Mina nodded her head "that sounds perfect! I'll be right back! When I come back I expect to know what you and Sero were talking about in class and at lunch before I interrupted!" Mina walked out the room closing the door behind her.

Y/n walked over to her mirror, her eyes racking over her figure. She turned to the side slowly taking herself in. Everything Mina had said wormed its way into her brain. Y/n gave herself one more look over before smiling slightly. "You know what I do have a cute figure" as if summoned Mina popped up beside her now dressed in sweats and a loose T-shirt. "Damn right you do. You're literally seducing me right now." Y/n jumped slightly. The startled girl looked at her new friend before bursting into fits of laughter "Jesus, where the hell did you come from! You scared the shit outta me!"

Mina giggled and flopped down on y/n's bed. "If you don't watch yourself I'm gonna fall for you" y/n added. Mina looked over at her and shrugged her shoulders. A small smirk growing on her face "we would be the most absolute power couple in our class." Y/n sat down next to her pulling her phone dialing her fathers number. "You're right we would" they looked at each other bursting out in to laughter. "Nah our classmates aren't ready for that type of heat" Mina said.

Y/n giggled and pressed call, putting the phone to her ear. After a couple rings Aizawa picked up "hello?" Y/n smiled "why hello father that I love so much! I hope your day is going splendidly!" Aizawa groaned "what do you want?" Y/n gasped "can't I just check in on my loving father?" Aizawa paused before answering "No" this made his daughter laugh. "Mina is sleeping over in my dorm and I'm in no mood to leave at the moment so can you order pizza and bring it to my room please~?" Aizawa sighed "fine" and with that the tired man hung up.

Y/n reach for her remote and flipped through channels while Mina scrolled through her phone. A comfortable silence washed over them before Mina shut her phone off and turned to y/n. "So spill who do you think is the cutest guy in our class?" Y/n only knew Mina for a short time but she felt like she could trust her with anything or at least trust her to not tell anyone. "I said I think the guy with the green hair was the cutest. I don't remember his name hehe....but Sero said he's off limits because he's a skirt chaser and he already has a girl. Which I translated as fuck buddy since he didn't say girlfriend instead. and since he meant it as fuck buddy i said that it was fair game then. That's when my dad hit me on the head" she giggled

Mina gapped "Midoriya? Really? I have noticed he has been getting a lot of attention from the girls after he grew much taller and bulked up." Y/n laughed and shook her head "of course, most guys would take advantage of that" Mina nodded "you know now that i think about it he has snuck in a couple girls several times and sometimes wouldn't come back until the next day. I didn't think much of it until now. Anyway what were you talking about at lunch?" Y/n thought back to their conversation "He asked if i was really gonna go after Midoriya and i said no since I've had my fill of players in the past. But I'm definitely gonna mess with him. Messing with players is fun. Anyway i mentioned that i would still mess with him since Sero said he was single" she paused still trying to remember the full conversation.

"He told me that's not what he said and that he said he probably has a girl and i brought up the whole thing on how he meant it as fuck buddies and the he called me stubborn. Then you popped in and that was about it." Mina nodded taking all the information in. Mina was about to speak before a knock at y/n's door interrupted her. Y/n walked over to the door and opened it slightly, taking a peak to see who was there. "Oh! Apa! Thank you so much!" She opened her door fully to grab the pizza from his hands. Aizawa paused and looked is daughter up and down. He knew of her past and about her scars that once comforted her, reminding her she was alive. He knew that she grew to hate them, that they disgusted her for they represented her old unhealthy mentality and habits. "Finally comfortable in your skin again?" He smiled at her adoringly.

Y/n froze and looked at her father, her eyes tearing up slightly before nodding. "I'm happy for you mijita" Mina silently took the pizza away from y/n's grasp so she could embrace her father. Silent tears made their way to both parties. Aizawa silently cried while holding his daughter while y/n did the same. Aizawa was definitely going to call m/n and let her know that their daughter was blooming again.
