New beginnings (Izuku Midoriya x Latina Reader)

Chapter 7

After lunch everyone headed back to the classroom. Mina and Denki were making a bet on what the next lesson would be on. After everyone settled down, Aizawa walked to the front off the class and cleared his throat. "Since you guys finished most of your class work early we are going to use the rest of the day to train. Everyone go change and meet me at Gym gamma" with that their teacher left to go to Gym gamma. Y/n and Mina made their way to the changing room with the other girls. Y/n unlocked her locker and pulled her gym uniform out of it before heading to the bathroom stalls to change. Before she could make it far Mina stopped her "where are you going?" Y/n stiffened and gave her a tight lipped smile

"I'm gonna change in the bathroom stalls." Mina raised her eyebrow at her making the shorter girl sigh "I did tell you I'm really self conscious. I-I don't want other people to see my body and judge me." Mina sighed and let the girl walk over to the stalls to change. After changing y/n walked back over to Mina smiling brightly at her. The other girls gave her an odd look for being in the gym uniform and not her hero suit. "Hey l/n-san don't you have a hero suit?" Momo asked. Y/n looked towards Momo "I do but I'm not comfortable wearing it yet. Also you guys can just call me Y/n. I don't believe I've met most of you."

This made all the girls step forward and introduce themselves to you. They all seemed to welcome you with warm smile's which made y/n's heart swell with happiness. Once the introductions were over, everyone made their way towards the gym. Y/n and Mina made their way to their group of guy friends. Everyone chatted for a bit before the gym doors opened revealing Aizawa and All Might.

Y/n squealed at the sight of the scrawny looking man. "Tio!" She exclaimed running towards the former number one hero. Her classmates stared in awe as she jumped towards the man making him stumble back a bit. "Y/n? What are you doing here?" Said girl looked up at her uncle with a pout. "You didn't know about my move to Japan?" All might shook his head and gave Aizawa a dirty look. "Why didn't you tell me n/n was moving here?" Aizawa shrugged making Toshinori frown. "It's been forever Tio Toshi! You haven't visited for like 2 years!" All might nervously laughed and rubbed the back of his head.

"Yea I've been kind of busy" he glanced at his successor before looking down at his niece "anyway we'll catch up later. For now everyone will be doing individual training for a couple of hours. I expect everyone to use their quirk the their fullest extent!" Her classmates groaned before walking off finding their own spots to train at. Y/n's eyes traveled around looking over everyone's quirk. Y/n didn't keep up with any events that happened in japan, including the UA sports festival, so she didn't have a grasp of everyone's quirk. 

Dealing with her life in Texas Y/n didn't feel the need to keep up with what was going on in Japan, she mainly relied on what her father would tell her during their calls. The only thing she did see, was when her Tio Toshi fought All for One. Her heart shattered for her uncle that day. She tried to get in contact with him but he was always busy. The h/c girl looked over to her uncle. The former symbol of peace, her dear uncle that dropped many of his duties to spend time with her, looked so frail. She sighed and shook her head. Though he looked frail he still looked decently healthy.

Toshinori was one of y/n's favorite uncles. Being the symbol of peace made him travel a lot so he was able to visit her more often than most of her other 'uncles' and 'aunts' that lived in Japan. Y/n turned her attention back towards her classmates and took in as much information on their quirks as she could. Y/n started forming a small water ball in her hand just to toss around as she watched everyone train. "You should be training too" she heard her father say behind her.

She looked over at him and shrugged "you know I can't do much without my hero suit. If I were to go full out in my gym uniform it would be torn to shred." Aizawa sighed and shook his head, not bothering to ask any questions, before walking towards all might. She continues to intently watch her classmates before she was startled out of her trance. "Hey watch out!" Y/n turned her head and her eyes widened. A large piece of debris was headed straight towards her. Before she could sprout her water wings and move out the way a flash of green invaded her vision.

Midoriya was able to kick the piece of debris, smashing it into small pieces before it hit the small girl. Midoriya sighed and looked over to where the piece of debris came from "Kirishima you should really be more careful! Someone could have gotten hurt!" He looked over at y/n "are you okay?" Y/n's e/c eyes widened and gapped at the boy. Before she could stop herself she blurted "el faldero!" Midoriya gave the girl a confused look. Y/n's face burst into flames after her outburst "I-I mean thank you! I'm fine I should really watch where I'm standing haha..." she mentally facepalmed before turning her back towards him and pretended to hear someone calling her "anyway I think I heard Sero calling me. COMING SERO" she yelled out.

She sprouted her water wings which tore the back of her tank top and gym jacket and flew off in the directions she last saw Sero. Midoriya stared at the girls retreating form before going back to his own individual training. Y/n landed in front of Sero. Her face still burning from embarrassment. To her luck Sero had watched the whole interaction with Midoriya. A wide smirk was settled on his face as he stared down at y/n.

"Well that was interesting" he chuckled "what happened to the flirty attitude you were sporting earlier. Weren't you gonna play around" Y/n glared at him and huffed "I was caught off guard! Plus I literally look like a sack of potatoes in this uniform! I'm gonna play around all I want when I look decent." Sero laughed and shook his head "you literally called him skirt chaser to his face." Y/n's face began redden again. "He didn't even know what I said so it's fine! I think I played it off well!" She crossed her arms and pouted.

Sero patted her head and smiled at her "uh huh sure you did Chiquita"

Honestly this chapter could have been better and I'm not really happy with how it turned out but I just felt like writing sooooo.,,,, I apologize if you don't like this chapter n's lowkwy I don't either
