The harp, fiddle, tin whistle, flute, Uilleann pipes, bodhrán and bells are some Irish instruments.
The ahpikòn, water drum, and turtle shell rattle are some traditional Native American instruments.
Finally, acoustic and/or electric guitars (those with steel strings and those with nylon strings) and the piano are some of my own personal favorite instruments.
I'd love to see the above compliment of instruments used in a song put together for my novel, "Dreamcatching."
