"Hey Am... How are you feeling today baby?" Liz asked softly walking into the plain white hospital room. "Pretty shitty... but don't worry, it'll be over soon..." Amanda said softly looking over at the blonde with fond eyes.
"B-baby... p-please don't talk l-like that..." Liz said tears forming in her eyes . Amanda was sick, she has been for months now. The doctors count her days off, knowing she won't make it. Liz's heart ached at the idea of loosing her, she loved Amanda with everything. So everyday she would go to the hospital and see Amanda who was recently getting too sick, and weak. Some days she wouldn't even leave.
"Baby.... hey... please don't cry.. it's ok..." Amanda said pulling Liz close to her, wrapping her arms around her. Liz couldn't help it, she let the silent tears fall, it hurt her hearing Amanda say that. Amanda held her, trying to comfort her girlfriend .
"Liz ... i need you to do something for me....Promise me... promise me that you'll move on... promise me that you will find someone who makes you happy... promise me you'll smile and live happily... and I know it'll hurt baby... but promise me you'll do it... I know... sometimes I think about how life would be if I wasn't sick... I would marry you... we'd live in a nice house... maybe start a family... and I pray I'll go to heaven... so I can see you again... I don't want to pass away... life was kinda short... but I got so many blessings...you were one... so when I leave... I hope you find someone else to love ... I wish it could be me... but we both know I won't make it out this bed.. but I'm glad I was able to call you mine... baby promise me ... you'll find someone and be happy... promise me you'll let go..."
Liz was at this point was crying harder than she had ever. She clenched Amanda's shirt and sobbed into her shoulder. "N-no... I-i d-don't p-promise... y-you c-can't g-go... p-please d-don't g-go..." she said, barely able to speak through her sobs... those words broke her, endless tears fell down her face.
"It's ok baby... I love you... I'll always love you.. for all eternity..." Amanda said pulling Liz closer and kissing her forehead while running her fingers through her hair.
