Amandas pov-

I walk back from classes heading to my dorm. I here a soft cry. Not like in a scary one, but it was full of genuine fear. I walk towards where the sound is coming from, im perfectly able to take care of myself so im not scared. I see a girl, she's on the ground crying . She's bleeding a bit her clothes are all white slightly dirty , it looked to me as if she fell from somewhere tall. A tree maybe?

She hides her face in her hands crying softly. I kneel in front of her ''hey... you ok?'' i ask. Her head shoots up and she immediately backs up terrified, i look at her and slowly step forward, she backs away till her back is against a tree. ''p-please dont hurt m-me'' she says looking away crying. ''i wont, you can trust me'' i assure her and hold out my hand, she hesitantly takes it when suddenly we hear a man ''Oh lizzy... you cant hide forever'' he says. She looks at me terrified. ''p-please dont g-go'' she says clenching on my shirt. She was scared and i needed to help her.

I bend down and pick her up and she clenched into my shirt and cries. As I go to walk out I hear the man yell " LIZZY WHERE ARE YOU BITCH" he yelled turning the corner where we were. Everytime he yelled she'd jump and cry even harder " your names lizzy?" I say in a low tone "N-no it's E-elizabeth b-but he d-doesn't call m-me that.. I-I normally g-go by L-Liz" she said shaking and stuttering through her sentence. "okay okay my names Amanda okay?" I say while walking to my dorm room ''o-okay" she says  while we were walking she had fallen asleep luckily we were only 3 minutes away and she wasn't heavy so I was able to get us home pretty fast.

I step in my dorm and lay her on my couch. I make something for her to eat when she wakes up. I hope she wakes up soon, she has cuts i need to treat soon. As she sleeps i study her, she has a few cuts and bruises, her clothes is all white and has lace hemming, her cheeks are tear stained, and her blood leaked onto her top. I recall the way she cried and held me , she was terrified... what did that man do for her to be like this... She stuttered like crazy, cried , and flinched from the simplest movement.

3rd person pov-

'What has she been through?' Amanda asked herself seeing the hurt blonde.Amanda then got up and went into her bedroom to find clothes for her once she woke up. As Amanda was walking out she saw that Liz had woken up. "hey Liz, remember me?" Amanda said quietly " I-i remember y-you ..A-Amanda right?" She said stuttering "yeah it's me, how are you feeling?" Amanda asked sitting in the chair next to the couch " I-I'm cold, hungry, and my body a-aches" Liz said while looking at Amanda with tears in her eyes " hey hey no no no... don't cry please and I made food for you and I can prepare you a hot bath if you'd like?" Amanda said with a caring smile " r-really?" Liz said wiping her eyes "yeah of course" Amanda said walking into the kitchen to get Liz food.

She came back and Liz was fidgeting with the lace of the bottom of her shirt. ''Liz?'' Amanda asked holding out the bowl and Liz flinched, ''o-oh... im s-sorry'' she said looking down and taking the bowl. ''its ok'' A few minutes later Liz was done. '' do you mind if i help you clean those up?'' Amanda asked pointing to her cuts, Liz nodded softly. Amanda treated all the wounds on her that were visible. ''Liz... if you don't mind... im gonna need you to lift your shirt a bit'' Amanda said calmly. ''o-ok'' Liz said lifting it just enough to see the cut.

As Amanda treated Lizs cuts they made small talk like how old she is, where she's from, and little things like that. "okay we seem about done here and your bath is ready" Amanda said "c-can you come w-with me?" Liz asked nervously "of course" Amanda said standing up and sticking her hand out for Liz to grab. The girls then walked to the bathroom and Amanda stood out side the door till Liz was in " y-you can come in n-now" Liz said shyly " okay" Amanda walked in and closed the door and then sat against the door
