"stop that Lilith." Wisley scolds his sister for the third time again as they sit in the cramped car, waiting for their father to get back. Today was supposed to be the day that Lilith gets to choose a dog from the local shelter but instead of driving there directly, Mitchel decided it was a good idea to stop at a well-known diner - his favorite and only diner in town, to get the famous spiced coffee cake. Leaving an annoyed seven-year-old girl in the car with her now annoyed older brother.

The girl was constantly clicking her tongue together while smacking her palms across the seat of the car. The sound not too loud, but also loud enough to be heard throughout the automobile. By her third scolding, she decided to stop. Clearly seeing that her brother had a frown on his face. But for her the few minutes that they were waiting felt like hours, so the clicking and smacking changed to her hitting her feet against the front seat where Wisley was sitting at.

"Can you not dude." Wisley instantly turned around glaring at his sister, who was sulking with a pout on her face. "When's dad coming back?" She managed to say, slowly sliding her body on the floor mat. Wisley paid her no mind, relaxing his head near the door. where the wind was flowing through his hair, causing the throbbing in his head to lessen.

He felt anxious and stressed. He always did these days but after the strange and vivid hallucination he had after waking up, the mild ache he had in his head became even more painful. and the lack of sleep makes him feel even worse. His mind kept thinking about the things that happened and has been happening to him.

Wisley was in his own thoughts, slowly drowning in the endless puzzles he can't seem to understand, slowly spiraling by the events that had made him like this. he was so mused that he didn't hear the constant voice of Lilith telling him that she wants to leave the car. But by the feel of pressure on his back, he jolted back to the present, turning towards his sister. "Can you just stop; you're pissing me off!"

The angry shout full of irritation that Wisley spitted out, turned the car into utter silence. Both of them reflecting each other with wide eyes. Wisley could see that his sister was surprised, and he was too. It was unusual for Wisley to scream, especially at his younger sibling. He had never found the courage to raise his voice at the girl, even when she is being an utter nuisance sometimes. But then again, the young girl was being too much today and Wisley's head was aching with stress, so for him this time it was justified.

Just when he was about to turn around again, he saw how his sister's eyes that were filled with surprisement turned into tears. but he didn't turn back to apologize nor comfort her in any way. She needed to learn that not everything should go the way she wants them to.

He was about to turn back and relax his head on the door when he saw in the mirror how his sister wiped her tears away, and this time finally sitting still. Eyes staring outside the window. The boy doesn't have it in him to stay angry at his younger sibling or to anyone. His heart always too soft to forgiveness, even when they deserve it. At the same time, he wanted to let her be as she is right now, but also see the cheeky smile on her face that he adores.

"hey Lilith...," he started out by saying. But Lilith only gave him a side view and continued ignoring him which made Wisley roll his eyes by the face she was making. "such a brat," he thought. he then decided to make the same annoying sound, the girl was making with her tongue minutes ago. "hey brat, remember this sound?" Wisley said, clicking his tongue a few times more.

That made Lilith snap her head at her brother, lips pursed together. "I'm no brat, you are." Wisley smiled at her answer, knowing that he finally got her attention by calling her a brat. She hates that word; she always did for some unknown reason. That made Wisley wonder why she hates it so much. "Brat." Wisley continued pestering her, "why to hate the word brat so much when your' a brat yourself?"
