Chapter 8✨

"Wake yo ass up" Kentrell said while snatching the covers off of me exposing my legs and shorts. "Moveeee kentrellll" I said while trying to pull the cover back over my face. I heard Kentrell chuckle a little while saying, "damn if you would've told me you have these on last night we would've slept in". I laughed a little and yanked the covers back over my head, I heard Kentrell smack his lips before he walked out. Usually I'll get up then but for some odd reason I felt really tired, I just thought school was weighing down on me. At around 1pm I got up did my daily hygiene and went downstairs where 3, Herm, and Kentrell's little brother kendell sat smoking weed and playing 2k! I plopped down on the couch and rested one foot on Herms lap. Eventually Kentrell came downstairs and just stopped and stared at all of us. Once we finally realized he was right there, we stopped what we were doing and turned around. Kentrell stood there for about 3 minutes until grabbing his keys and telling me to run to Walmart with him. I sighed got up and walked outside and started to hug Kentrell but he just backed up and walked to the car. Once I sat in the passengers seat I looked in Kentrell's face and I could see he was irritated. "Damn trell what's wrong with you", he clenched his jaw turned around to me and said, "you fucking Herm". I was taking back a little I couldn't believe Kentrell would think I'll do something like that, "what the fuck Kentrell... why would you think that". "I mean you was under him and shit so is y'all fucking or not", "Kentrell why the fuck would you think I'll do that. I ain't no damn fool", i kind of leaned closer to Kentrell so he would know I was serious. He sat there for a minute just staring up ahead trying to avoid eye contact with me, "Kentrell" I said kind of irritatedly trying to get his attention. Finally he turned my way with a straight face saying, "yea I know you ain't dumb" Is all he said before starting the car and pulling off. The whole way to the store we didn't say a word to each other, we'll glance over at each other but quickly turn around and stare back out of the window. We finally got to Walmart which felt like an eternity but really was about 5 minutes, we walked in together I could already see some girls pointing and smiling in Kentrell direction and a couple taking a double take as I walked next to Kentrell but as long as Kentrell didn't entertain the girls I wouldn't pay any attention to the boys. As I turned the large cart into the produce isle while Kentrell walked behind me constantly grabbing my ass whenever a dude looked I saw a very familiar face. It felt as if everything around me froze once the person turned around it was my mother. My hearted dropped and I just stood there since Kentrell was walking so close and wasn't paying attention he ran right into me. "Damn Jay-" he stopped in the middle of his sentence when he saw what I was looking at. My mother finally saw me and looked as if she wanted to say something but quickly walked off into another isle. As soon as she walked off and kentrell touched me I jumped back into reality and flinched a little, "bae you good" Kentrell said sounding concerned. I just lightly shook my head and began shopping again, towards the end of our shopping trip I stopped in the kids clothes section. I picked up a cute paw Patrol outfit and showed it to Kentrell, "Bae look this would look so cute on Kayden". Kentrell smiled the same smile that made me melt inside every time, placed the outfit in the cart and hugged and kissed me. "When we gone start buying clothes for our baby" I chuckled a little and said, "when I'm done with college". Kentrell just did a slight smile and shook his head, I laughed a little more and began to kiss him when I immediately noticed Kentrell's eyes following the group of girls walking past. I rolled my eyes and started to walk away when I felt Kentrell grab my hand, I just snatched it away and went into the nearest check out line. The whole time I ignored Kentrell, he knew why I was upset so that made him beg even more. Once we got outside and started to load the car with groceries Kentrell yanked me towards him and told me to talk to him. I just took a deep breath and said, "I didn't get in this relationship to look like a fucking clown". Kentrell didn't have anything to say, I could see the guilt and regret in his eyes but I still had an attitude towards him all the way until we got home. After we put the grocery's up, cleaned up a little, I took a well needed shower grabbed my texts book along with notebooks and pens I started all of my homework. I was half way through algebra and pop smokes "What you know about love" started to play through my air pods when I heard banging on the door. Kentrell worked in the streets and told me if nobody didnt say they were coming over don't answer the door him or Ben will answer. I looked up to Ben who was slumped on the couch and resumed my homework, I then heard the banging get louder and Kentrell loud stomps coming from the stairs. Once Kentrell got to the door I turned around to see who it was, as soon as Kentrell opened the door I already knew it was an unwanted guest from the look on his face. After I heard "where the fuck she at" I snatched out my air pods and dropped my pens which fell directly onto the text book. I jumped up and walked right over to Kentrell, as soon as Yaya saw me she tried to get to me by Kentrell held her back. It was kind of weird seeing her trying to I don't know wiggle her way to me since she was so little and short. I was the type of person that didn't fight or argue unless I had to and for her trying to fight me over a nigga that's beyond weird to me. After many failed attempts of her trying to hit me Kentrell finally pushed her hard enough to make her stumble and fall. Before closing the door he said, "Stop fucking following me I don't want or need to ass no more"! After Kentrell just sighed kissed me and walked upstairs, after he walked upstairs Ben finally woke up after all of the arguing and fighting saying, "The fuck y'all was doing". I made a confused face chuckled a little and resumed my home work, I really didn't know what to think or to do I was still kind of confused if Kentrell really wanted me or was I just temporary?
