The next day, the Star sanses woke up early and got dressed, they were ready to go to the next AU.
Dream pulled out a heart necklace that was a locket, cross gave it to him a few years ago, he could still remember when he had his first child lux but then a few months later dream had to go on a mission so cross gave Dream his locket as a sign if dream ever felt sad or alone he would always have a picture of his beloved family smiling at him as if they were cheering on him that he can do it.
"Cmon dream! What are you waiting for? We need to head out to the next AU!" Ink shouted which immediately got dream out of his thoughts "coming!" Dream yelled back as he hopped in the portal ink created with his brush.
The Star sanses went to many AU's to see if they were still functioning properly but there were AU's that they couldn't go in such as horrortale and dusttale and plus that was more of dream's twin brother nightmare's job.
After from jumping to AU to AU, dream felt exhausted, he felt as if he were walking for days when it's actually only been a couple of hours but he wasn't the only one that was tired, blue also felt like he was going to pass out unlike ink he looked as if he was granted with good luck he didn't look tired at all in fact there was no drop of sweat coming from his forehead either.
"Ink.... can we stop here... blue and I are tired..." dream replied while also panting a bit.
But ink only let out a small sigh "alright but first we should check around this area"
"Um which AU is this? Sorry I lost count" Blue questioned "we're in the forest of storyshift, don't worry this AU is the same as the og universe of undertale except a bit different..." dream replied, keeping his voice down.
"Alright this time we'll check the area differently, we'll split up" Ink said looking proud
"Um ink are you sure that's a good idea?" Dream questioned thinking it might be a bad idea to spit up, not only that but the Star sanses never split up especially if they're doing their errands.
"Well I think it's a magnificent idea! So where should we go?" Blue agreed "hmmm... oh! Blue you'll go left, Dream you'll go right, and I'll go straight" ink replied while pointing to where they should go.
"That's great! I'll go over there right away!" Blue replied, already running into the left side of the forest and disappearing into the bushes. Ink, immediately ran after blue left, and ran straight to where the trees were and had completely vanished.
Dream was all alone.
