Drifting away (cream story)

Dream walked slowly as he got deeper into the forest while also hiding himself from the people who lived in the AU he wasn't aloud to show himself unless if someone was in danger or having negative feelings.

Suddenly, dream started to hear loud footsteps behind him he quickly tried to run away and dash into the bushes but the stranger grabbed onto his cape tightly before he could make a run for it.

"Oh dear brother, don't you know it's rude to not say hello to your brother" a very familiar voice replied, Dream shrieked as he tried to get out of nightmare's grasp who was wrapping his tentacle around him.

"W-What do you want nightmare?" Dream replied fearfully.

"You know exactly what I want dream" nightmare replied tightening his tentacle around dream.

"You'll never g-get the golden apple I-I won't let you!" Dream shouted as he desperately tried to get out of nightmare's grasp.

"Oh simple naive brother... you seriously don't understand what's happening here don't you? Well I guess I'll tell you my plan now, and it all started after you left your family and I knew I couldn't just easily grab the apple without having cross and your filthy brats get in the way so I to wait for the perfect time to capture you and I'm pretty sure you can figure this one out now Dream?"

"T-the mission we had to go t-to you were the one who caused it y-you were the reason why I have to leave my family for a whole week- wait a minute where are blue and-" but before dream could finish, he saw horror and killer dragging the bodies of ink and blue who looked to be knocked out.

"NO!" Dream screamed who now tries to wriggle his way out to save his friends.

"Uh uh uh don't run away now Dream the fun just begun! Although I must say dream I guess we are now an even match since you and your "friends" took away half of my men which is why there is only me, horror, and killer" nightmare replied with a bit of a smirk.

"Don't worry boss we'll never leave you!" Horror said who is always trying to win nightmare's attention but it seems nightmare was more interested in killer who technically became the teachers pet.

"Yeah yeah shut up! Just take them to the dungeon and make sure they don't try to sneak out" nightmare replied who was still holding dream tightly with his tentacle.

Dream could feel the goopy tentacle that was squeezing his ribs tightly that he started to hear them crack. 'Cross... children... I don't think I'll be c-coming home soon I-I'm sorry... I failed you... hopefully you'll forgive me for this a-and that no matter what... I will always love all three of you.... don't forget about me...' dream closed his eyes and felt his head aching but mostly it was his heart that hurt the most, he could feel it breaking to a million pieces.

Soon everything became black, and dream's entire body started to feel num, he couldn't move, he couldn't hear himself breath anymore, it all felt as if he was turning to stone again.
