Day 5
Though sweltering heat, I fina-frikin-ly found out how to purify my water supply and make if safe to drink, and that the Divines, because I need some clean water. I got some sand from nearby the river bank and put it in my furnace. If school taught me one thing,... It's that I hate school, but if there's a SECOND thing it's taught me, it's that sand+heat=Glass. Well sort of, normally you have to shape it and do all kinds of do what's with it to make it glass, but this world is weird and works on it's own, making glass without issues or me needing to do anything.
I'm surprised, school actually taught me anything useful. For me most of it was C.L.A.S.S. Or Coming Late And Start Sleeping. And the other part was being yelled at by teachers for being 'stupid' or 'wildly different' and never understanding what they meant by in the first five seconds they told me of a new concept... Looking at you, geometry! Grrr....
...I have officially lost my mind...
Regardless of my hate for school, I carefully molded the glass into bottles from 3 blocks of glass. Grabbing some water from a the nearby river, Heating it up in the furnace, it was safe to drink. EUREKA! It's been so long since I've had safe to drink water, it felt so tasty on my dry and parched lips. And I didn't vomit after drinking it! Hooray!
But my moment of accomplishment was short lived because I remembered something. Other then this sweltering heart, the little food I have is running dry, and there's hardly any editable game anywhere close; I've hunted all the close wildlife here, and I'm not too desperate as to eat a horse. People would kill me if they found out I did such a thing if I ever got back home
Despite my better judgement, I may have to go exploring to find food. But perhaps exploring will give me hints as to escape this crazy world? I can dream. On that note, I went down to the shaft today and when I was down in the mineshaft, I came across a minecart with a chest inside it. Inside the chest was some weird, but still sensible items. Some rail tracks, some iron, but the weirdest was this shiny yellow apple I found. Well it was more golden, but it had a purple aura flowing over it. I decided to take it. Who knows, it may just save my life someday?
