Rei would have been sent to the nearest hospital. So I went to the nearest hospital in the vicinity of the incident.
A vanilla walled place, full of the injured and sick. It possessed smooth dark green tiled flat floors. There were some posters with some rather vibrant colours, talking about how to take care of your health, insurances, and directions.
Although even with these colours. The place still looked black and white. It still looked dull and colourless.
Even my attire looked colourless. I wore a bright yellow zip-up hoodie with dark blue jeans and a black undershirt as well as a black baseball cap that had vertical white stripes across it. The cap covered all of my hair as well.
I guess I may never get over Visiting these places huh?
Ah well, it EEZ what it EEZ.
As I walked up to the receptionist to ask about Rei, a pink-haired girl ran past me. She was panicked.
She just completely ignored my existence. I have never felt more invisible than now, how dare she?
"Excuse me, my brother is here-" The pink individual spewed out in her laboured breaths.
"Miss, You will have to wait for your turn." Said the receptionist.
Confused, "Rose" here just looked around, before glancing at me. She was shocked, with a hint of embarrassment in her expression.
"O-oh, I'm sorry, I didn't see you there. Go ahead." She then walked the end of the line along with an aqua-haired woman.
Wait, there was a line? How did I get in front of it? Did I ignore everyone else and just walk to the front? Did they all just accept it? Damn, how hopeless is this place? Huh, I feel like a hypocrite.
Ah well, it EEZ what it EEZ.
I simply silently walked up to the receptionist.
Elian: "Yesterday, an aqua haired man named Rei came in by an ambulance, I'm here to see him. I'm here to visit to see how he is doing."
Receptionist: "Name?"
Elian: "Elian Catgen."
She then asked a few routine questions that I answered. Afterwards, she gave me a room number, 149.
After thanking her, I walked away. I followed the clear hanging signs to the room. Opening the door, I saw Rei in a lavish hospital room, looking gleefully out the window.
Well, this is a hospital in a low tier district, so it was as lavish as they could afford.
Rei glanced at me but questioned what I was looking for. After realizing I was looking for cameras or microphones. He gestured that there are none to me.
After I ignored him and finished checking, I walked up to him and sat down on a chair next to him.
"How's it been? You feeling any better?"
"A little rough around the edges and I have a killer headache, but alive. I'm alive. Damn, thank you fo-"
"Okay so we both know why I'm here, what did you say?" I rushed.
Rei possessed a questioning glance that was aimed towards me.
"..........Well, I decided to go along with your plan. I didn't know what you said to the detectives but assuming your love for having the last word, you probably went along with your plan. If I didn't, well, you guys would've been in quite some serious trouble."
I knew it, suck it doubtful Elian. You owe me ten hours of sleep since you can't give me five bucks, god damn loser.
"What questions were you asked, and what exactly did you answer?"
