Rose was here, Why is she here? Does she go here?

"Language Elian. Watch your tongue. Now what's the matter?" Mr.School sighed out.

"......Not a thing sir, not a thing at all." I said, obviously lying.

"Alright then. Since their clearly isn't an issue, you wouldn't mind sitting in the empty seat beside Remi now would you?"

OF COURSE I DO! IT WAS SO OBVIOUS THAT I HAD AN ISSUE WITH HER! WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS?! WHY WOULD YOU THROW ME UNDER THE BUS LIKE THIS?! WHAT DID I DO TO YOU!? GUT YOUR FIRST BORN WHILE YOUR WIFE WAS PREGNANT OR SOMETHING?!

"N-no sir, of course not........."

Damned broccoli looking ass......

He simply responded with a smug grin of his. God I want to carve his face off.

Consequences Elian. Think of the consequences.

I hesitantly sat down next to Remi. Ah yes, that was her name.

Okay, let's just stare forward and ignore her, hopefully she will do the same.

..........

Nope.

Remi has staring daggers into the side of my thick skull. It wasn't a hateful glare though. More of a spiteful, but grateful one. Looks like she didn't hate me.

Class has started, looks like she won't talk to me thankfully.

............

Nope.

"Hey there...." She whispered.

Let's just ignore her and see if she gets the message.

God damn it she didn't, again.

"Hey, we need to talk." She said a bit louder and with more force.

A chalk then hit her forehead.

"Remi, stop interrupting another student and preventing him from learning. Talk after class." He said sternly

"Alright. Sorry about that sir." Rem said rubbing her forehead.

Was it really necessary to chuck a chalk at her? There are certainly better ways to stop a student from talking.
I guess it just goes back to the whole superiority complex people gain when given power and dragging others down. We do this by any means necessary, even hurting others to appease our own anger.

It's not like it matters. While still controversial and outrageous after a certain extent, corporal punishment is still legal.

Mr. School then went on to continue his lesson. We were learning about The War of Power. It's just one of the many wars and rebellions between the low tier peasants, and high tier lords.

What typically happens is that low tiers demand better rights or something along those lines, and rebel once they don't get it.

Usually they lost due to the power difference between armies of low tiers and armies of other tiers.

While they don't tend to necessarily outnumber the low tier armies, the quality of troops tend to be stronger, allowing them to win most of the times.

There were some occurrences throughout history where the low tier rebellions succeeded due to ingenuity and sheer overwhelming numbers, but that was very scarce.

If you make a time graph, you can see that the amount of rebellions won like this increased in time.

Noticing this, leaders listened to them and implemented long sought-for laws that aided them (such as a ban on slavery, and implementing workplace equality laws), leaving the lower tiers satisfied for some time, which in turn extended the reign some nations ruled.
