A Month Later:
Finally, a school. It's been almost two years since I've been to school. I decided not to enrol at one when I was first taken in by the Timbermans.
In my time incarcerated, I realized it was easy to self educate. I wanted to put this to the test and, as previously stated, spent pretty much every hour studying various topics. At first, I started with things that could prove to be useful in general, such as strategy, and biology. But with me coming to Wellston, I started to learn about academic subjects. I'm pretty close to caught up with the average student in terms of a high school education for someone in my grade.
The reason I decided to come back to a school again is because I realized that this method of studying was, well, very damaging to my mental health due to the isolation it tends to require.
I'm smart, not bright okay?
I was wearing the Wellston High uniform. A plain white dress shirt, with a navy-blue tie, a grey vest, and a teal jacket. Although I was only wearing the dress shirt and jacket. I didn't bother to learn how to tie a tie and Gia just burned my vests after seeing them so "she didn't have to see me become any uglier" according to her.
I also wore my cherry-red wireless earbuds. Music is nice to listen too at times.
Following the beige-haired man named Keene, I entered the headmaster's office. Sitting in his chair while leaning on his desk with his hands touching tip to tip was a dignified man. He was the headmaster, Vaughn. A teal-haired man in his late forties with brown-rimmed glasses and a magnificent goatee.
"Good morning Elian. How are you?"
"Peachy, excited, and with a hint of ingenuity. How about you sir?"
"I'm doing well. Now, before we give you everything you need after you leave, I want to talk to you about the incident that caused you to be incarcerated." Yeah, had a feeling he would want to talk about that.
"You don't have to worry about that. besides, I'm sure you have someone in this property who could stop me in case I do decide history is too beautiful not to repeat." Why else would he risk letting me onto the property?
we entered a staring competition. Both of us possessing a gleam in our eyes, his narrowed, mine happily open. Both of us figuring out what's the next best move.
There was tension in the air that lingered for a few seconds, tension that he broke.
"Impressive, how did you figure out I was stronger than you? There shouldn't be too many people on this planet who could defeat you."
"One, that right there. You just confirmed you are indeed stronger, and you don't strike me as a man who lies. Two, you're the headmaster of Wellston Private High School, chances are only a god-tier would choose to run a place with this prestige. Three, instinct. Instinct is just the result of an educated guess of unprocessed information your brain makes based on previous patterns. It gets more reliable with more experience in certain situations. I have plenty of experience on people stronger than me, although it's been a while since I've seen someone stronger than me."
I could feel my ego inflate as I said this.
Elian: "Four, this."
My right eye glowed a crimson-red as I activated my second ability. I glared at Keene with a sinister smile. I wasn't going to do anything with it, just I wanted to make Vaughn panic. Which he did.
With a grass green shine, he used his power to shut mine down.
"Shutting someone's ability down. Only god-tiers with abilities based around aura and god tiers with a highly mastered version of their versatile ability can do that. Typically the latter is about and above 8.5 in rankings. I think you fit into the latter end of the criteria based on how fast you were able to do that. Even for me, it takes me a couple of seconds to block one's aura." I spoke with a massive grin appearing on my face."
